Does that mean it works by limiting inflammation while it also represses positive response to a degree?
The only reported side effect is, and should be, a flu type fever as the immune system battles the cancerous tumors.
Do you mean "your stupid", or "you're stupid"? If your sentence is correct, the question I have is "your stupid what"? I see your name is "youssef". Is your first language English, or some other tongue? If English is your first language, you're not very good at it. If English isn't your first language, then bravo for your attempt.
As many problems as this company has had, it still looks like they have a good chance to succeed. Why else would they be expanding production with the $25 million structured pledge? At these levels investors can make a lot of money.
When few wish to sell, the volume is necessarily low. Look for the share price to have to go up to meet demand.
They've had poor management and could not meet production goals or work out the proper structural processes to produce what they claimed they could. At last, they admitted they must expand the plant to produce enough product to be successful. New leadership, in key areas, is expanding the plant with Khosla's money. The $25 million is a structured commitment, provided in $5 million allotments for meeting certain goals - all leading to increased production...we hope. If things work out,( and why would Khosla pony up $25 million if he didn't believe it could be done? But of course, he's also trying to protect the money he's already invested) Khosla, and investors can make a lot of money. The opportunity to buy shares at this cheap price is speculative, but many think, worth the risk. It could make you rich, or it could make you wiser about throwing your money down a well, but if you have some money to speculate with, take your shot.
Gates' $25 million is a promise based on production progress. It may or may not be forthcoming. As for waiting for earnings? Don't count on any for the next several months. If there are any, they won't be much. We will have to wait until they get the upgrades to produce.
This is a very interesting supposition. I certainly hope you are right, but at much, much higher prices. Divesting themselves of valuable properties wasn't a capricious decision. Obviously, Merck is building up their war chest to make pharmaceutical acquisitions. Why wouldn't it include a deep and efficacious platform like INO? After all, many of the new hires by INO have Merck pedigrees.
Of course he wouldn't mention anything at this point. But, consider this, often big pharmas buy small bio-techs when the believe in their science, and Merck has already demonstrated that fact by partnering with INO.
I just heard part of a story on the radio about a woman in California whose cancer was cured by using her own immune system to attack and destroy it. Does anyone know the name of the company? It sounds just like INO's approach, but is it confirmation or direct intervention/treatment?
I did find one story about Sloane Kettering curing Leukemia by enhancing t cells through gene therapy, turning them into "assassins" to attack and kill cancer cells in the blood. When these were all cleared, they required a bone marrow transplant to keep the cancer from returning - the cure. Toxicity does result because the response was so "good". All the dead cancer cells floating around in the blood cause some problems, but was mitigated by staging the introduction of the enhanced t cells a little at a time.
Inovio has positioned to change the world. The human immune system is involved in the defense of and the attacks on our bodies. Being able to control it's aberrant off and on buttons is pivotal in so many of our frailties and chronic conditions. Can you imagine no more arthritis, MS, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, cancer...ad infinitum? Inovio will free us and make our years here on Earth so much more pleasant, without pain, without suffering, without dying prematurely. We shall go gently into that good night, when that night comes.
What is clear is that AF has a vendetta against NWBO. Did Linda rebuke his advances, and is his attitude payback?
AF says something like, if you stick a big needle in a tumor it should show damage". What a disingenuous statement! If that were the case perhaps all oncologists should be doing that. NWBO said "necrosis", not pin holes, and systemic shrinkage of other tumor sites. AF is showing his hatred. He is not a dispassionate broker of information. He should be fired.
Yes, especially evident when you see ONCS going up as INO goes down. ONCS is like the little brother of INO. They should go up in concert.
I have been gritting my teeth and holding my breath. At last, I can begin to breathe again. Let's get this train a-rollin'.
