  • Having been here since 2010 or earlier I wouldn't presume to predict a price '
I have tempered my enthusiasm somewhat from earlier times but would consider that if Jack were to accept a $20 price or less in the event of a buyout he would be selling us seriously short .
It has always been my contention that Arena should remain a stand alone company partnering with other Pharmaceuticals to ultimately bring in multiple streams of revenue from different sources once other drugs are on the market and that of course takes both money and time

  • OREX with just over half the number of shares, traded 798,430 more shares on the day.
The reality is that anyone intent on selling has already long since gone.
Those left recognize the value, believe them to be a long term hold and won't consider selling until they are seduced by higher prices.
The neat thing is that the little guy who has held through thick and thin will have his patience rewarded.
And lets face it no one would be more deserving.
Those who were convinced to buy other companies in the sector may rue the day that they lost the faith in favor of other drugs which have yet to be proven on such a widespread scale.
Lorcaserin is being trialed in multiple clinics for a range of different indications ....the same cannot be said for Qysimia or Contrave
It takes TIME to BUILD a BRAND but when that brand has shown a first response of lowering blood sugar levels, lowering bad cholesterol while increasing good ,lowering blood pressure while improving liver and kidney function then the battle is almost won ....add in weight loss as an added bonus and you begin to get an appreciation of why no one is selling

  • Now it looks as though they're here to stay,Oh I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
    Oh,yesterday came suddenly.....

Yesterday this was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away

Try to see it my way
Do I have to keep on talking till I cant go on?
While you see it your way
Run the risk of knowing that all trust will soon be gone
    We can work it out
    We can work it out
    Think of what you're saying
You can get it wrong and still you think that its alright
    Think of what I'm saying
We can work it out and get it straight or say goodnight
Life is very short ,and there's no time
For fussing and fighting my friend
I have always thought that its a crime
So I will ask you once again
Try to see it my way

Boy you've going to carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time

When I was younger so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now those days are gone I'm not so self assured
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors
Help me if you can I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being around
Help me get my feet back on the ground
    Won't you please,please help me
And now my life has changed in so many ways
My independence seems to vanish in the haze
But every now and then I feel so insecure
I just know I need you like I've never done before

When I find myself n times of trouble
    Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom ,let it be

Have to agree with you on that one ,I think ARNA can easily supersede those collects...and agree with you on the Finns, they are talented for sure but I too prefer Crowded House.
We had a mining disaster at Pike River a few years ago where 29 men lost their lives.... Tim was commissioned to write a commemorative song and performed it for the families in Wellingtons Michael Fowler Center ,from all accounts a brilliant acoustic venue ...a very emotional time for all concerned considering the bodies were never recovered much to the disgust of most families

Biggest collect I ever had was over $7,900 on a $39,500 + trifecta at Moonee Valley in Melbourne ....20%
Have backed 4 and 5 winners in a poker 6 to pick up $3,000 or thereabouts a few times ....if the sixth one had won would have been multiples higher...one day maybe.
Did back the winner of the Grand National in the UK at odds of $40 to one a couple of weeks back .
The thrill is in beating the odds

I have had some of my biggest collects when down on my luck.
Put my last $25 on the last race at Christchurch in 2010 ...didn't even stay to watch the race.
Went back to my sisters place, checked the result to find I had won over $2,900....10% of a $29,000 + trifecta

If Sharon is a big time pumper then you have to concede that you're by far and away the biggest wet blanket .
I see Sharon as someone who researches and provides facts and doesn't post otherwise unlike yourself who has been pushing your own theory which has yet to be confirmed by anyone else.
Seems like you feel threatened by her ....I thought you were a long

Absolutely ....that's it in a nutshell ....short and SWEET

  • of 2,643,919.
    So says T D Ameritrade.
Hedge Funds may have to take the lead from Eisai and lay off ineffectual non producing employees.
A good place to start might be Tony,Chance, Awsgv,Fred, Hanglo and J Bob.
They don't seem to be too effective.
Perhaps like Eisai they could instead employ a more specialized team now that the groundwork has been laid

  • Have had a look at some of the breeding and have just backed Stanford at odds of 61 to one .
Don't know much about him other than that he comes from a family which has produced many successful sires and Malibu Moon already left Orb to win the Derby .
With 4 individual Derby winners in his first 5 generations and a good infusion of speed to boot that shouldn't hurt
He also has some well connected people in the ownership though a decision on a start is apparently being left till Saturday....worth a punt at the odds for sure ...the only reservation I have is his trainer who despite saddling up some 40 odd starters doesn't appear to have won too many

    Why hold ARNA?

Well for starters just one news release in January caused an explosion in daily sales to over 107 million shares and with it a big increase in share price and there will be more news releases coming....nothing is more certain
Anything can happen at any time and with each passing day they get closer....they have much to fear because Jack is not going to give them any prior warning ....it will come completely out of left field and leave them scrambling to cover a short which has the potential to blow out of all proportion ....the higher the price goes the more it will cost them

  • turned over just 252,696 less shares than ARNA.
Proof that ARNA is held tighter than a bulls a.se in a field of flies.
Then factor in the exchange of shares between H Fund A and H Fund B and you'll get a better understanding of how many shares were GENUINE market sales.
They may have to call in hanglo the chicken man....he may have some experience in extracting hens teeth

Its not so much a case of not trusting Jack.
Its more a fear of what he might do while they continue to hold 34 million shares short

See if you can round up horse then your three blind rat story might gain some credence...here horsey whoa boy....neiigh

  • 90% of longs have you on ignore which means your message falls on deaf ears....they have you on mute.
So the only people who hear you are those who haven't turned the sound down.
I only tolerate you for entertainment purposes and you never fail to deliver.
I find it interesting that the majic one and neo have gone strangely silent on their wonderful investment in OREX. much like you all did on that other marvellous drug....you know the one with twice as much weight loss and three times as many adverse risks.
And anyway why did you throw in the towel so early when it came to that pump?
Well at least there's one thing that no one can accuse you of .....your lack of transparency.
You give a whole new insight into the meaning of your favorite word..... moronic.
A word which clearly was coined on the Street

They are masters at mind games ....if there's no reason for it to go up it does and vice versa
Just HR and his bum buddies messing with us

  • leaving them fighting for their life but they failed to see early enough that VVUS was the better short .
Effectively they have been burn't twice.
Will be interesting to see if they miss the boat on OREX or suffer third degree burns
