So you are saying that big guys like Toyota would be more profitable not to sale cars to the public individuals ??? EVs being sold to the rentals are limited depending how the rental progress. If not much more EVs going to be sold to the rentals then KNDI only earn a small profit from the rentals because they only own 9.5% share from the rental business. Their aim should be to sale more cars to the rentals, but like I said it is very limited at this point. So, I predict that the sale number will be very low compare to the last 4100 !
I believe KNDI EVs must be #$%$ (considering all the subsidies and tax free and people are still not buying). So what is the sale number going to be this quarter, 2000 or less ? I don't see how KNDI can announce anything bigger than 4100 for the 3rd quarter ! Car share/rental buying is kinda like the one time deal unless they keep expanding new garage and buy more which I doubt at this point because it is still in the piloting phase. This stock will sink once the 3rd quarter numbers are announced.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
This is still holding .... We are getting there. Big traders know something I don't (hopefully my guess is correct). One thing I know though, FEYE will fly pass $40 this time before anything will slow it down. If you are not in, it's still not too late.
I just can't see any risk with this stock at this level .... such an easy play !
I'm in ! This is actually a good buy right now. Even if there is no buyout, FEYE will be back to the 40s by year end.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
You got something right. Who want to buy a cheap China made EV with the price tag of over $15,000 ?
China products, both high tech and low tech are nothing but trash. Come to Walmart and experience them for yourself ! China EV might blow up in the middle of the road, either that or the battery would last for a few months at most before having to buy a brand new one. #$%$, even phone battery made in China blow up .... what makes you think they can make efficient EV batteries and last ?
Answer to all posts: You blind pumpers are ignoring the facts again ! I'm long, but not blind. There are currently over 240 million cars already in China, so THERE is clearly a big demand for cars or other form of automobiles, just not for EVs ! The 20,000 EVs utilized/sold over 1.4 billion people tells all !!! Trust me, if the demand is there and with all the subsidies and tax free, there would be millions of EVs sold in China by now .... come on ! BTW, quite telling the wrong analogy about cars in the US in the 50s and 60s. #$%$, China is different now, with over 240 million cars ALREADY in use .... do your DD.
Considering a nation with 1.4 billion people living in heavy pollution and the number of EVs being claimed to be sold is 20,000 ! Not yet, especially the majority of that 20,000 EVs are sold to car-sharing and rentals. So, where is the real demand if the individual users only bought roughly about 10,000 EVs ? Come on, don't keep lying to yourself now !
You are the stupid one that afraid to face the truth. Either that or you are the person who can only think one way and afraid to face the truth .... that's what make extremists ! EV rentals are barely making profit. It must be the case that KNDI EVs are not worth a buy and that's why people are not buying even with huge subsidies and tax free. People in China must be ambarassed to drive a KNDI car in cities like Hangzhou or Shanghai. BTW, I can't even trust riding a Chinese bicycle .... talking about cars !
that KNDI EVs are not being sold to public. They are mainly being sold only to the JV (Kandi garages) and car-share programs. So, it doesn't matter if EV demand is truely high in China, KNDI EVs do not benefit from that fact. I can't picture Toyota or Honda cars just being sold to Hertz or National rental car and be successful ! This stock is going nowhere far until we start seeing KNDI EVs can be sold to the public users. For now, car rental is the main thing and success level is within that limit ! Big subsidies and tax free are ongoing and if KNDI can't sell EVs to end users then I don't know WHEN ? Let's face it and don't take side !
Come on longs .... ChineseScam is right ! If you deny Chinese low quality then you should take a visit to Walmart !
I somewhat agree with you that subsidies might not be in many places yet. However, Hangzhou is a big enough city with more than 21 million people to make some sales ! Also, Hangzhou is a highly developing city with many middle class people, so EVs at this price (minus subsidies + tax free) should be very affordable to many. I understand regarding the limitation for charging stations and plugs, but they are available and I expect to see at least some sale numbers to the public instead of just car sharing programs.
I agree with you on some points, but not others. First of all, KNDI EVs are currently with subsidies and tax free, that would be very cheap to own one with the same price of a decent scooter in China. If you think that 7,000 - 8000 is expensive to majority of the people then you are wrong, especially there are many rich people in large cities of China. Also, if less than 10,000 is unaffordable then those people also can't afford to rent these EVs for $3.50/hr .... they would be renting a bicycle instead ! KNDI seems to be an attractive stock, but there seems to be so many unknown factors at the mean time.
1, Why most of the EVs to date were mainly sold only to JV and carshare prorams, but not to end users .... especially huge subsidies and tax-free are in place ? Is there something wrong in this or why end-users are not interested in buying ?
2, KNDI initially claimed to have the capacity for producing 50,000 EVs/year, then why they are now spending 52 million down payment for another facilty for producing 100,000 EVs/year. 50,000 EVs/year is way more than they need at the moment !
The first question should be very important to clarify .... Please share your opinion.
Keep going down .... I really hate to see the weak longs hanging in KNDI. It is totally ridiculous how that stupid article yesterday still can affect this stock !
Lots of buying/rebuy tomorrow morning because that SA article is invalid and digested by many as nothing more than a shot attack. Investors/traders should know better by now not to value anything coming out of Bloomberg and SA .... nothing but trash ! Tomorrow, KNDI will zic zac for the first 15 minutes or so then fly high. Business as usual guys ! I'm very surprise how fragile the market can be and how easily people can get panic. KNDI will hit $30 in a matter of weeks.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Right on bsx ! At least longs seem to be more logical than the shorts. All Carson's followers have 3 things in common: evil, stupid and illogical.
This message is for the general audience: Don't cry and don't be a chicken zhit .... hang in there and earn big. You don't have much to lose at this level ($4.xx). Looking back 2 months from now you will bang your head and call yourself stupid for not buying more of NQ shares. I currently have 47,000 shares accumulated and not worry. Don't get me wrong, that is 80% of my porfolio and a very big chunk of my money. Don't call me stupid for betting so big on NQ .... I'm one of those who want to go big or go home ! Why am I going big with NQ: I did my DD, special audit is done, and do not believe a word Carson Block claimed.
VERY STRONG BUY at this level !
