Yummmm. On my way!
Agreed, but mcd has really been struggling over the past year hence the several changs in CEO's. It'seems amazing to me that for a place with a lot of corporate brain power they have trying to improve menu options and the bottom line, someone in some corporate meeting raised their hand and said, " aaah, lets offer breakfast all day!"
Please post a picture. I can't see you looking my computer! I prefer Wendy's (WEN) long term. Better quality food and better long term turnaround business model. I believe it has better growth opportunity. McD has too many issues for me.
Your making a big mistake.
People go to Wendy's because the quality of their food is so much better. McD will not pull foot traffic from Wendy's just for this reason. If anything, you should be adding. Wendy's new business model is more enticing than McD long term in my view. Just bcz McD has a limited time $2 value for two items does not mean they are out of the woods in the eyes of the public and wall street. They still has lots of problems starting with the quality of their food.
Wendy's is a better long term option. Their recent earnings release indicated so and analysts see positive activity for their future more so than McD.
I would rather pay $4 for a quality jr. bacon cheeseburger, better chicken nuggets, decent fries and a drink than $2 for the #$%$ McD shovels out on a daily basis
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Again, no real creative deal, here. Not a game changer. Between $1.29 for 10 nuggets and $4 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries, nuggets and a drink, Wendy's will clearly win this battle of the low cost, limited time offering, low value meal.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Can you please explain to us exactly how they are doing a "very good job"? Are you a part of the MS team, do you have access to their information to come to this conclusion, or maybe you call them weekly and ask, "how's it gong with the review?".
Just read that, too. Can you imagine waking up and getting an email notification from your financial institution that your dividend was just received and then you log on and see $54 million!
pom-pom cheerleader?? Have not heard a peep from him for several days? I thought his in-depth corporate stock analysis of "great company" was a real deal breaker.
Nutts, man, you need to chillout dude. Enough with the capitals! :-)
I invested knowing full well that I would probably lose my investment and that is OK. It's a risk reward thing, right? UNIS, inmy view, is simply "gambling"; not an "investment". House is stacked against me, but it is a little entertaining to watch my own train wreck every now and then.
Now, I have other investments, real investments, in companies that make UNIS look like little boys trying the play business. Those are serious investments!
I hope so. I actually just sent an email to a writer of a franchise online blog site who covered the story. I wanted to see if she ever had a follow up story or if she knows anything. I will keep you posted if she responds.
