People lose weight by ingesting fewer calories.....especially empty calories like sugar.....as I stated in earlier posts.
To lose weight is a simple equation.......burn more calories that you take in......there is no other way to burn a fat cell......which is 3600 calories........there is NOTHING that HLF makes, that can magically change the way the body works.........and THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE FTC IS GOING AFTER.......
FALSE CLAIMS BY COMPANIES LIKE HLF.
Again, in answer to your question.......NO, NO person has EVER lost weight by using an HLF miracle shake.
....and when the FTC comes down on them, HLF will no longer be able to make their MISLEADING claims about how their protein shakes magically make fat disappear......
....and when that happens, HLF will have to change the way they do business, and their revenues will FALL OFF A CLIFF........because they won't be able to claim that their products are any different from what you can buy at your local WALMART at a fraction of the cost.
See you beholding SHEEP at $30.00.
Flutie sport.....are you REALLY as STUPID as you POST?
Next time you see one of the commercials you refer to.........READ THE HUGE DISCLAIMER that scrolls across your TV screen.
You are truly an IDIOT.
As I posted sport......HLF"s MAIN SELLER is their weigh loss protein shakes.......and without them....they are a $30.00 stock.
They can sell all the perfume and fragrances they want......but the MAIN REVENUE generator is their weight loss protein shakes.......and without that, HLF has NOTHING.
Do YOU understand FAD?......or FALSE CLAIMS?......and MISREPRESENTATION?
Furthemore, MORON......there is a HUGE difference between using something...(weight machine)......and INGESTING something...(HLF protein shakes).......and the rules governing each is VERY DIFFERENT.
Are you people REALLY as STUPID as you post?
Oh fluteman, sport......you poor misinformed idiot.
NO weight machine manufacturer makes a claim their product will help you increase muscle mass.
You, like the other SHEEP on this board, are misinformed.
If you actually KNEW anything about working out, and physical exercise, you would know that there is a HUGE DISCLAIMER form that is included with ANY AND ALL weight machines that in effect says that the weight machine will do nothing of the sort.
Secondly......YOU DON'T INGEST A WEIGHT MACHINE YOU IDIOT..........or, maybe you do......since you seem to have loose nuts and bolts in your brain.
NOTHING....and I mean NOTHING, in HLF products is some secret formula to help a person lose weight.
And that IS exactly what HLF claims their products can do for you........IE: ....FAD DIET products
That is TOTAL GARBAGE.
That is TOTAL GARBAGE, sport.
HLF products have NO magical formula to help a person lose weight......NONE.
Try again, sport.
HLF's weight loss protein shake is by far their biggest, and best selling product.
Without it, they have NOTHING.
And after the FTC implements new rules, and doesn't allow these companies to continue making their the false claims about how their protein shakes "magically" fat disappear from your body, HLF will have to remake the way they do business.......and they will have NOTHING special to sell.......and they will disappear from the landscape.
Revenues will fall off a cliff......and pyramid scheme or not......HLF will be worth no more than $30.00 a share.
They were both DUMPING their HLF shares today, sport.
Check the VOLUME.
You think that was just retail investors?
....and THAT is a "FAD DIET"......misleading consumers with FALSE and INACCURATE information.
So YES, the FTC will be coming after them.
I REST MY CASE.
The MMs are keeping things orderly so ICAHN can dump his shares without causing too much disruption.
It's obvious.....the high volume is one dead giveaway, and the small blocks being dumped at intervals all day long.
You SHEEP will just be the last to know.......as usual.
Thumbs down from a potatoe chip eating, cookie dough body, who couldn't hold my wheel on a bike either......and who couldn't keep up on a simple 10 mile training run.
Oh ouch, sport.....that really hurt........LOL
You know nothing, sport.......so stop posting like you do.
Sweep trade at the bottom.......LOL......your stupidity makes me laugh.
You people need to get an education.
There is ABSOLUTELY nothing contained in HLF protein shakes that makes them of higher quality or able to produce better results, than the protein powder that you can buy at Walmart For a fraction of the cost.
And that's a fact.
Your buddy CEO Johnson isn't the only one who competes in triathlons and other endurance events.
I have a room full of medallions, trophies, and certificates, and photographs, from my athletic endeavors, and my finishing times are better than Johnson's.
And I KNOW he would never be able to hold my wheel in a bicycle road race, or time trial.
And you couldn't pay me to consume the garbage from HLF.
The PER of HLF protein is very low......meaning most of it is not even utilized by the body, and thus eliminated.
Go read the ingredient label on protein powder from WALMART, and you will find a protein in their powder with a higher PER than that of the protein in HLF products.......at a fraction of the cost.
And that's a fact.
The general public is so easily duped.
What DOES DISAPPEAR when you ingest large amounts of protein is WATER.......WATER WHICH IS ESSENTIAL for your body....because a protein molecule requires more water to digest it, than does a molecule of carbohydrate or fat.
Thus, you lose water weight when you ingest large amounts of protein......water weight which your body needs for other functions.
You therefore become dehydrated slowly.....so you don't notice it like you would if you became dehydrated from some lengthy or intense exercise......like say, running for example.
However you are becoming dehydrated just the same.
And one the KEY SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS OF DEHYDRATION ARE KIDNEY STONES.
Not to mention the excess strain placed on the kidneys during the excess protein elimination.
BOTTOM LINE.....YOu don't "NEED" anything that HLF sells, that you couldn't get at your local grocery store, at much lower prices.......
.......and anyone who tells you otherwise is a flat out LIAR.
AND THOSE ARE THE FACTS.
One more example........do you think CLIFF bars are good for you?
Before you decide to eat the next one, before, during, or after, your workout.........READ THE INGREDIENT LABEL AND SEE HOW MUCH SUGAR IS IN JUST ONE CLIFF BAR.
Again.......MORE SUGAR than a can of Coke.
Still think that Cliff Bar is good for you, and just what your body needs?.........Think again.
And sugar is sugar.......doesn't matter what form.....your body treats it, and reacts to it all the same.......whether it's white refined sugar, or natural sugar in the most wholesome organic fruit.
ITS ALL MARKETING FOLKS.......SMOKE AND MIRRORS......TO LEAD THE UNEDUCATED CONSUMER.
To complete my thought in my previous point.....in PART TWO....
Consuming more protein that what your body actually needs is also not healthy........as HLF would have you believe.
And you don't need nearly as much protein as what you think.......or as much as what companies like HLF try to convince you that you need.
Not only that......but not all proteins are created equal, nor are they utilized by the body in the same way.
HLF products use a very LOW QUALITY protein.......most of which is eliminated from the body through urination.
BUT.......there is a silent problem here..........
That excess protein places a strain on kidney function.......which can have many detrimental effects........one of those being the FORMATION OF KIDNEY STONES.
This is a WELL DOCUMENTED FACT. Ask ANY nutritionist or doctor with knowledge of kidney function and the effects of excess protein there on.
Further, the dehydration that excess protein in the body causes, is a MAIN CONTRIBUTOR TO KIDNEY STONES.
Think I'm lying to you? Do a little research.
Most people have absolutely no idea how much protein that their bodies need on a daily basis.
So they listen to the hype from companies like HLF, and others, who try hard to convince people that the answer to losing weight and a healthy lifestyle is consuming a protein rich diet.
THAT IS TOTAL HOGWASH.....GARBAGE.....NEVER PROVEN......A PURE MARKETING PLOY.
There is not ONE SHREAD of evidence to back the claim that a diet high in protein causes your body to magically burn stored fat on your body.......NOT ONE SHREAD OF EVIDENCE TO SUBSTANTIATE THAT CLAIM.
THAT CLAIM IS 100% FALSE.
A fat cell consists of 3600 calories.......and it doesn't magically disappear just because you consume more of some "magical protein shake.
That is NOT how the body functions.
Continue to PART FOUR.....
So, you think that GATORADE that you are drinking during and after your workout is good for you?
READ THE LABEL AND LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF SUGAR IN A SERVING OF GATORADE.
There is MORE SUGAR in GATORADE than there is in a can of COKE.
That's right.....MORE SUGAR than a can of COKE.......WHITE REFINED SUGAR.....with ZERO nutritional value.
And in that same GATORADE you are drinking, there are only trace amounts of essential electrolytes.
Not even enough to make any substantial impact on your performance, or your recovery.
You'd be better off drinking tap water.
It's all marketing and hype, folks.
You deplete your glycogen stores when you workout......and the sugar laden drinks make you feel better initially.......but it's a FALSE FEELING...........and that's where people get confused.
You need to replace your depleted glycogen stores ASAP after exercise......and that is your body's primary concern for the first hour after exercise.
The companies like HLF and GATORADE and many others have falsely convinced you that by taking their products that you will recover faster, be able to improve your workouts by taking their products.
Nothing could further from the truth.
HLF supplements are loaded with low grade protein, and plenty of sugar........two things you don't need.
The P.E.R. of HLF protein shakes is miserably low.......making it very low quality.
Don't believe me?.........READ THE LABELS ON THEIR PRODUCTS.......BECAUSE I HAVE.
I could go on and on......but 99% of the information would go "whoosh"......right over your heads......so what's the sense.
Suffice to say......it's all a scam.....and people are just too stupid to realize it.
But I will give you one more tidbit........too much protein isn't a good thing either......and HLF claims that their protein shakes make you lose weight. What makes you lose weight is that consuming so much protein DEHYDRATES you.......so all you really lose is water weight........water that you actually need.
