Anyone have the GONZONGAS to buy CHK yet?

The reason i have taken my oil short off is because all it will take is just one headline to push oil up 5-8 dollars. I will continue to dabble in it but my original trade plan i drew up had me slowly exiting in Feb/ March so i am just sticking with my original game plan. After three runs,- 80-200 80-235 80-484 plus this last one 220-390 i feel like i am pushing my luck playing this position on any large scale. I still think my $25.00 could happen so i like you are building out a position as i go. I am not convinced NG will recover as soon as oil since everyone i talked on my Fact finding trip in Ohio and ND said that there was natural gas every where the put a hole in large quantities. One thing that may help is oil and NG tend to trade in together to a point so maybe a rise in oil will drag NG up with it? GL2ALL

    Trader
Most of the computer makers have a commercial line. The best thing i could suggest is to find a professional business technician , Your local craigslist may be the way to go. What i did was buy a system from a company that was upgrading and replacing all their processors. I run what is the equivalent to a Flash trade program so i have no choice but i am sure you can get something that will meet your needs for a decent price.

With all the great companies out there i am avoiding CHK I have never thought much of their management and the fact that oil and NG will be lower a lot longer than anyone thought i can not see how they will survive without filing for chapter 11 to lower their debt. It will be a lot easier for any of these companies to refinance with out having all these old debts to pay off. I see where you went long oil today. I am out of my Oil short and have been nibbling some oil long but have not gone in that large yet. I am still shorting NG GL2ALL

I had to quit using desk top and lap tops for just those kinds of problems . I switched to CPU's in a rack configuration which have a lot more power and cooling fans. Running hot was causing me as many problems as anything according to my technician so you may try upgrading the cooling system. GL

I use to run my horizontally but went with two rows of 3 with a 60" split screen in between which is easy to watch . I recently upgraded to a G Force Titan Z 12 GB 768 bit GDDR-5 Graphics card that is great. It is expensive but you can upgrade to 8-12 monitors without having to redo your system. I much rather run the best equipment i can than give the money to the Tax man it. I am still in LABU but sold the rest of my DUST. I have been under the weather today so decided to sell out the rest of my oil shorts but still in DGAZ GL2ALL

I have to log in to my acct to get info so probably. I am sure there are others that have bonds. Have you looked into your broker to see if they have bond investments? I don't buy debt but use the numbers to see how a company is doing since the bond writers always seem to be the smartest group in the room. I made a couple trades in DUST today keeping profit in shares but waiting to see how 1200 plays out. That was the line where i planned on going long DUST but i want to see how this level holds out. Other than that it is still short NG and a few DWTI. I have started trading around a core position in UWTI and GASL and sold a lot of my GASX today but still have enough to offset my long positions GL2ALL

I use GS to pull up all the bonds since they sell them but i am sure there are other Bond brokers that you could access. I will ask a friend of mine who buys bonds for retirement funds to invest in. Read where you are not doing much with UNG options so are you trading other things or just waiting it out? GL2U

No matter what they say the banks are not going to lend money to any company with this much debt on the balance sheet. This company has had issues before the recent down turn in oil and NG so i am betting that this was the last resort to get any new loans. Last week there was over 100,000 $4,00 put contracts bought in one day so somebody knew something. I have heard as many as 30% of all of the producers will ask for or file for something before this is over but i am looking at three other ones who bonds are at distress levels. GL2ALL

The ole saying is When the market sneezes The bio's catch a cold. Anytime we have weakness in the market the Bio's are the first to go. I bought some today at 5.45 and 5.05 my plan is to trim back on a bounce but at some point the Bio sector will feel the love again so you just have to keep trading while lowering your cost avg so when it does go up you are in there. Look to their bonds if you want to know how well each is doing since the bond insurers have the best overall look at a companies financial shape. I know of three more companies that are on the edge. GL2ALL

Dna That is it. I have always said that traders are like ground hogs. If they walk outside and it is cold? They buy NG and if it is warm, They sell So far every spike in NG and Oil has been an opportunity to short and i don't see why this one will be any different. At some point oil will be a buy but i think it will be longer before Ng will break out of this range. GL2ALL

I am moving back to VT in March/ April so i am looking forward to being back up in Ski country. The number i would love to see published is the number of Wells that are producing. That would be some Data that could really show what is going on. As always Keep up the good work.

    Hey angie
Long time no see. I usually post on the UNG board when i do bother to post. NG is still a short. I sold the last of my DWT and will be looking at DUSK when gold gets to 1200 Hope you have been doing good and as for UGAZ taking off, I have heard that for months. I see no reason not to short although i would love to get more in the 12'a again GL2U

It is looking like we have our next victim of the low energy prices. Lynn energy sold the last of it's reserves and is exploring " Strategic Alternatives" which is never a good sign. At one time this was one of the great energy brokers and paid a dividend of 7-10% for years before this latest downturn. This is what we need to see more of to finally put a bottom in. GL2ALL
