Anyone who makes investment decisions based on anything they have read off a message board should not be investing anyways. The recent news was an opportunity for those who missed the first run to get back in cheap. I always trade around a core position and hold 50,000 shares thru the swings. It is a great way to lower cost while making money in a long position. I have posted before that i didn't expect much till late 2015-early 2016. Once we get approval this will go straight to the IPO price and beyond. Just check out SYK Their products are very similar. GL2ALL

Sorry that is suppose to be 52.20 Sorry

  • theblueridgetrader theblueridgetrader Jul 28, 2015 4:20 PM Flag

50.20 after the CC before the call i think it could be all over the place. I have been checking around and every store i have talked to says the FIT Bit products sell more than all the others combined. What makes this report so important is The market will use it to extrapolate out the holiday numbers. I will add no matter what it ends up i will add if it drops but i am holding thru the holidays GL2ALL

DEAD MONEY for another 2 YEARS. $0.15 TARGET

I guess you either dont know how to read or have the brain function to understand what this means, This is exactly where we were a few days ago so what is the big deal. i know a lot of people who will use this opportunity to add to their position. The CEO was talking about the forth quarter in his recent statement so this puts us in that time frame. You have to remember that this is a new product that they want to make sure holds up well before they start installing these in people. They have been in trials since 2014 with no problems so just relax and wait till it goes thru all the steps to approval, GL2ALL

I agree and posted before that i expected it to be late 2015 to early 2016, Anytime you are entering a new product into the market the FDA makes you jump thru all the hoops, A few months is nothing in the grand skeem of things GL2ALL

Every time we have seen even the smallest drop it has been a buying opportunity. I trade around a core position so these drops are welcome but i have no intentions of selling my IPO core Position GL2ALL

Really tell me what kid does not loose interest in just about everything at that age (teenager) I am amazed that a kid even bought one and let one girl/guy say it is cool and they will never take it off. You can bet they would not spend 350.00 on an I Watch GL2ALL

  • theblueridgetrader theblueridgetrader Jul 27, 2015 12:14 PM Flag

The Ceo mentioned the third quarter so that is when i am looking for it to happen. The great part is they are not waiting to get started on their manufacturing. They are making deals ahead of time so they will be ready. That is a cofindent CEO GL2ALL

I check every time i go into SAMs to see how they are selling. They have a Big display in the front of the store that is always going down. These stores charge extra for that premium area which tells me that Fit Bit's sales team is pulling out all the stops out to get their products in front of the consumers. Wall st is going to use this quarter to extrapolate out to the best quarter of the year, The holiday season so i see great things ahead atleast thru then, After that? I hear a lot of discussion as far as how long will this Fad last. My take is that at some point in the future This device will be more of a medical necessity monitoring heart irregularities, Diabetes, Seizures etc..... I don't think that they even know how far this could go. A lot of people pay a monthly fee to have a device on them that they can activate in case they fall etc.. How about one that would do it automatically for those problems along with monitor smoke, carbon dioxide ? for handicap individuals. I spent the weekend looking into what the capabilities for these devices could be in time and all i will say is i filled several pages of realistic future opportunities that this product could be designed to fill. I have been in since the IPO and while i do trade my positions, I have always held a large core position that i have no plans to sell. GL2ALL

    THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

Since i believe we will test the old low in oil i don't expect NG to make any major run until the winter season. Over the last few weeks NG has held up better than oil but i don't see this trend continuing unless we get some event Pipe line issues, hurricane etc.. There is just so much production that no one is willing to cut because they know someone else will fill that void. I have been trading the channel in NG with DGAZ 5.00- 5.70 and than UWTI 2.90- 3.20-3.40 Just going back and forth between the two. GL2DAY

Wall st is looking for growth and they are willing to pay up for it. When this quarter comes out all the large funds are going to extrapolate it out to the Christmas quarter knowing that this will be the Hot xmas gift. The great thing about FIT is their product line and how it is affordable to all consumers. That is what separates it from the I Watch which lowest price model is still higher than the best Fit Bit makes. GL2ALL

    AMDA A Question

That $8.00 was in the IPO area, Unfortunately it took longer than anyone thought to get to this point. Anytime you are in new territory with the FDA they make sure you have all the i's dotted and t's Crossed. The Ceo mentioned the third quarter so we will see but i have up to the first quarter of 2016 before approval. The fact that they are making deals with OEM tells me they expect approval and want to be ready to gear up. Another company that makes the same products is SYK, Check them out if you want an idea of what this companies future could be. GL2ALL

You have to go all in! God i love shorts, They are the only ones who have to buy the stock twice. GL2ALL

I have ran my whole life and a 6 minute mile after a minimum of a 54 minute rest in nothing compared to a 7 min/mile average over 26 miles and if you did indeed do all that? You would know that too. GL Mike

So let me see if i got this right. You just lost twenty pounds yet you ran a marathon in 3.25 min. That means you averaged 8 1/2 Mph or 7 minute miles for 26 miles? Maybe you should take up story telling next. GL2ALL

    meh
I think before it is over they will become as much a medical devise as for fitness. There is so many possibilities for heart patients, diabetic , seizures etc The list goes on and on, This is just the start of what the future holds for these devices. They may have uses that are not even thought of yet. The CEO Mr Parks" has a reputation a visionary so time will tell. I bought on the IPO and plan on holding threw the holidays when i will re evaluate the trade but hope it become a long term hold. GL2ALL

I just got lucky and have been in since .25 cents and see 3-$5.00 at some point before the end of this year to mid 2016 once this gets approved and hits the market i see no limit to how much this company can generate. We have a large number of people getting to the age when they will be in need of new joints. GL2ALL
