ANF certainly is aware of whats up and are settling on a new CEO which when announced will bump the stock. Sales will follow as a major marketing and revamp will happen and meanwhile you buy low to sell high not the other way around. Spring will be here before long and clothes will be bought.

I would go with the 2017 4's paying a 2.00 premium for a 6 dollar break even and a dollar for dollar increase over 6 bucks. I figure an ultimate price of at least 12 bucks and more on a buyout or other good news. Its a conservative gamble. Do your own DD just my opinion.

I've unfortunately been correct. Long term options are the only way to play here. Simply because of the time for sales to take hold. Nothing else matters. 2016 2017 options are the way to go and they are on sale.

The greatest individual investor of all time said "In the short term stocks are a "Voting Machjne" In the long term its a "Weighing Machine". CBI was a victim of an insane short attack on a misrepresentation of the Shaw deal. The top infrastructure stocks are supported by worldwide population growth and development plus the need to rebuild the rickety old infrastructure of the "developed countries". A P/E of 7.7? this was easy money.

  • When you sit back and see how the world is run it all becomes easier. Einhorn, Buffett , 30 billion in back orders and critical infrastructure projects on the menu. You think a few retail shorts mean anything? Forget about it !! Over time CBI not only "weathers the storm" of foreign policy madness and challenges it ultimately and inevitably goes up because there are simply too few companies with this capability. The price target of 57 plus is conservative if you are an investor and not trying to trade the stock short term. That is unless of course if you are smarter than Warren Buffett or Einhorn then by all means knock your self out with trivia.

  • Al Mann and the funds are making moves not us with a few paltry shares by comparison. So if anyone wants to sell go ahead! At the end of this story the long term value will be discovered and the company will be sold. Meantime the Algo traders for what is chicken feed dollars to them can force the market up and down. If you think this is a short term investment you are wrong Sanofi is going to roll this out in stages and by my estimate third quarter of this year will be the first time a good read on sales and other issues will be known. If you are long go trade something else while this develops. If you are short you are playing with fire longs are the house with a sure future and like the guy with a roulette system you can win now and then but your not the one in control with the odds in your favor and sooner or later one announcement comes out anytime and you are toast. No one knows when thats coming but it coming. I'll be around for it. How about you?

    Is AFREZZA better? He asks...

I slammed him as well calling the tests for Afrezza #$%$ against FDA approval and a 13-1 yes vote by a panel of Doctors chosen by the FDA. Psycho analyst is a really a short basher in disguise.

  • Blackrock has over 20 million shares and a 5.1 % stake in MNKD they are pros and always have short or put positions to insure the account. In addition so do the others like Vanguard then there are those that incredibly day trade this stock and after a few days up cash in some profits. Nothing has changed and we are on a steady march up with each announcement and new territory opened around the world. Nothing goes up in a straight line. Would you like to be short when Europe and Asia are opened?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • There was quite an uproar when MNKD made a deal that "only" gave them 35% of the profits from Afrezza but guaranteed their survival and cash flow for the coming year. One of my careers was in the music business when it was at its height in the 60's through the 80's. No matter how brilliant a song or an Artist was potentially without the seed money for tours and international distribution there was no chance of success for Artists without a powerhouse international company. Often the terms were very harsh to the Artist . Yet those that made the "deal" like the Beatles and Rolling Stones became the legends and those that didn't disappeared. These experiences made me laugh at the naysayers of the Sanofi deal which is now playing out exactly as I thought. The International Powerhouse is taking the brilliant "Artist" Afrezza to legendary status one careful move at a time and putting their money where their mouth is and planning no doubt the world wide attack to come. So the next time any of you invent something that is stellar and someone offers 35% profits plus millions in cash and international distribution, do your self a favor, take it and laugh all the way to the bank!!

  • How sweet it is to see the entire Motley Fool crowd continue to eat crow! Lets review 1. MNKD will be slammed at the ADCOM public hearing WRONG 2. It will not be FDA approved WRONG 3. The label if approved will be crippling WRONG 4. The partner deal is so bad MNKD PPS will never recover WRONG 5. Todd Campell should join Oreilly, Fuerstein, Cramer etc. on Cramer's own "Wall of Shame" for having no clue about the health benefits, social impact or ultimate profitability of the blockbuster Afrezza. So what? Now What? I guess a sincere "mea culpa" to those who have and will continue to lose money because of "Motley Fool" advice

    Put yourself in Sanofi's shoes.

Gradual is an interesting way to think about it. The "gradual" rollout will include Europe Asia and Latin America. MNKD will be the gift that keeps on giving! Thats why Sanofi will do a buyout as soon as their house (CEO) is in order and to prevent having to pay an enormous sum after the world is included. Early 2016.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Put yourself in Sanofi's shoes. They just changed CEO's for lackluster performance. This was the perfect time for the new CEO to dump Afrezza and take the pain of severance to show that he was "righting the ship". BUT that's not what happened instead he is doubling down on the bet because Afrezza is critical to give Sanofi an edge and talking point as competition for standard insulin products heats up and they are in the process of rolling out their own new basal insulin. No matter how you look at it from a technical stock perspective or a company commitment perspective or a market acceptance perspective or most importantly a scientifically valid and health enhancing perspective this is a sure winner. Meantime enjoy the algo trading shenanigans and add where possible.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • The bottom is more or less in in for MNKD. The short action is largely institutional as retail shorts need more volatility than MNKD offers. So I'm thinking for the first time that this is part of a larger hedge and plan for MNKD purchase by Sanofi. It won't be soon but its coming.
