  • How simple is this? With all the world's problems and cross currents and phony publicity SBUX just continues to pour profits!!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

While we are in repricing world these days few if any companies have the name recognition and easy world wide future growth that SBUX has. China, India and just beginning in Colombia and everywhere else in Latin America shows that they are welcome and just starting wherever they go. Under these circumstances it will be an under predict and over deliver stock for many years to come. In a tough economic environment a small luxury like a great coffee and free internet works just fine. Plus all the new extras, Coffee is also selling raw at all time lows due to the strong dollar lowering costs. Time to accumulate, today was the beginning of a run higher.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • SBUX is slowly expanding against an entrenched and decent chain called Juan Valdez. SBUX very wisely made it clear that they will use local beans and if you compare the two chains you see that SBUX has a wider variety and is a notch better. Colombia is booming and has an aspirational population and unlike its neighbors is weathering the oil crash better than its neighbors with many other sources of income. Also Colombians are hugely pro American and so this shows how management made a wise choice here. SBUX will go higher worldwide!!

Oil stabilizing a bit and dollar down. All good. AXTA well supported and has excellent clientele who NEED the products. Plus strong balance sheet. Just off the lows technically with plenty of headroom on the upside. Insulated from most other shocks that discretionary companies face.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Stop financing Jeff Bezos and his slave labor operation. Short this pig to oblivion. He will never stop cheating shareholders and destroying small retailers and competition. The Sherman Anti Trust Act is dead under Obama. Clearly this is a predatory monopoly.

    1. 100% USA business away from foreign problems 2. No debt 3. Less than half way through the expansion of stores in prime locations.4. Offering affordable items in a recessionary year. 5. The logical step up from the dollar stores and still competes with them. 6. Same store growth year on year. Whats not to like? Looking at 50 by the end of 2016.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • 1. Never marry a stock 2. Insider selling tells all 3. Beware of guys like George Rho who held positions in the 2's (by his own admission) and then pumped like mad even though he must have taken a beating with the rest recently. 4. It's Ok to admit a mistake and sell. 5. Quality of anything does not matter without execution in sales. 6. Timing is everything and Afreeza's time was years ago before pill competition for type 2 became credible. 7. We all win and lose in investing move on. Likely BK from here or move to OTC for pennies.

  • People forget that air travel is usually not a pleasure cruise. The routes that JBLU flies have solid core of business and "family event" travel. Once a year stuff that is saved up for regardless of economic issues in many cases. You can be sure that JBLU has a fuel hedging program of some sort in case oil rises in price. Meanwhile they keep innovating and providing great service on routes that are safe.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • No idea why Yahoo is forcing their beta of the new finance on my other computer but not here. I hate the beta and there is no comment section for subscribers and its cluttered and worthless. Meanwhile JBLU is a real bargain as OPEC is raising output!! JBLU will be lapping up cheap fuel for 2016 and earnings on Jan 28 should be stellar.

End of year profit taking for a stock that went up a lot this year. Plus a general market sell off. A great buying opportunity!! Ask yourself one question is JBLU going to do well next year or not? The algos will eat you alive if you try to day trade. Go long term with good companies. JBLU is a great company.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Can you believe that complicated mess they shoved out this morning? Why fix what's not broken. In an age of social media it did not even have a message board and they dropped the PEG ratio etc. Looks like they backed off.

So you sold sold at the lows? Good job I want more cheap shares.

  • I'm sitting with 2017 options 1 buck out of the money and thrilled with what JBLU is doing to promote and grow the company. I should have bought more and probably will. The stock is so volatile its not really worth it for a trade but options in this baby are a gift. Long term up at least 10 points form here.

Algos having fun pushing people out and scraping a few dollars. Long haul this is good as a strong base formed and no bad news in sight. JBLU is perfect for this environment. Slow growth or recession it doesn't matter people need to fly for various reasons and JBLU is the "Costco" of the air, not a luxury brand but a great value for the money and good treatment of passengers. Not like Spirit which is "Walmart" cheap and filled with unpleasant people and seats that will kill you on a long flight plus secret "Gotcha" extra charges.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • CNBC reports domestic airlines adding flights. JBLU should benefit and later report stellar earnings. Good to be a USA airline.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Enjoy your Thanksgiving and Christmas and Hanukkah holidays. JBLU is packed with travelers and will report a strong quarter later. Their routes are unaffected by the international insanity of the moment as they are in the USA and selected South American routes. Hang in for profit beats and happy fliers with the free wifi !!

  • Technical analysis in the old fashion sense has totally been replaced by super high frequency scanners and algos. Banks of computers right next to the exchanges to save a nano second. Every 1000 share trade I have made in the last year was immediately countered in an attempt sometimes successful to force me out. Remember these guys pay no fees, cancel trades, front run by nano seconds and spoof etc. If you win at "day trading" today count yourself lucky not smart. Its back to much longer term horizons with fundamental research with companies that have an inherent advantage of some sort and are well managed. If you want leverage use plain puts or calls only unless you are a math genius and glued to your computer and can make instant calculations and act on them. The good news is JBLU has that advantage. They are the second coming of Southwest. Not the cheapest but the best value for the money conscious traveler who does not want to be insulted like on Spirit. The algos know that and have fun day to day with decent volume to trade against. Over time you can beat them easily but you need 6 months to 1.5 years. Russ Koesterich a "Blackrock" huge company guru was on Yahoo today he has the absolute worst hair piece/rug in history is this what you are listening too? A guy who has a dead racoon on his head? JBLU is good for about 8-10 points by the Spring of next year.!

    Brilliant Move by JBLU

Yup been following it and flying it myself here in Colombia where I am half retired. As long as JBLU is even close to Spirit they will keep kicking their butt as Spirit is the absolute worst experience in the air. Amazon has an affiliate program and you can be sure as people buy stuff in the air JBLU will get a cut. Think how smart this is. Passengers get wifi from the best internet company in the world "Amazon tech services" probably JBLU gets the service to increase sales for nothing or very little, everbody wins. I have stock and leap options I could not resist buying the dip today. Already in the green on the stock and got over a year for the leaps just one buck away from green there. Target 33-34.

  • This is how you build customer loyalty adn you can be sure that Jet Blue will a piece of the pie on sales of Items!! "JetBlue and Amazon Bring Free High-Speed Wi-Fi and Instant Access to Thousands of Movies and TV Shows Available on Amazon Video; More Than Just Streaming: Customers Can Shop Millions of Items on Amazon, Including Great Deals on Top Products for the Holiday Season; TrueBlue Loyalty Program Benefits and Airport Experiences Coming Soon"

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I'm in for leaps Jan. 2017 15 strike because I live in Colombia and with all the turmoil in the world its good to be in an airline getting great fuel cost reductions, flying only in the USA Caribbean and selected South America locations and here they are beating the heck out of Spirit even at a slightly higher price because the service is better. Analyst ratings 34 in several months. Buy any dip for long term from here and avoid the volatility and Algorithmic traders stealing your money if you try to trade short term.
