    Dr. Tran

Dr. Tran is a big supporter but he is wrong. No company will pay anywhere near what Al wants without sales results. Big Pharma will pay very big bucks once sales are in Q1 to Q2 2015 and buyout becomes a reality sometime after that. Would anyone buy any company that sells to the public with a new product without a sales and profitability report? Relax it will happen later.

Thank you and good luck to your daughter. This spotlights the size of the world market to come. Blockbuster comes about the closest but doesn't include the wonderful "life changing effect" this will have on old and young. If I was writing the Ad copy it would be "Discreet, Portable, Effective"

You know what I like about this post the fact that it says in a nutshell what every Elon Musk, Paul McCartney and Steve Jobs heard before they made history. Even my friends and fellow traders say the same thing while I already made a boatload and have repositioned for more. You see the FEAR OF SUCCESS and JEALOUSY is actually stronger than the fear of failure because some people really believe deep down that they don't deserve it and it could never happen to them as a result. Its sad really. I'm a strong researcher and have been reading medical papers as a volunteer and clinic manager for years with family that died from diabetes this know nothing most probably as no medical industry exposure but he knows better than the FDA, and the Doctors that testified at ADCOM on their own dime and patients who were in the trial etc. So now after approval and we are speculating who partners etc. this guy should just go to the nearest mountaintop and yell "I'm not worthy" 1000 times.

50k @ 10.02 !!! I can't wait for the short interest tomorrow. I hope its high it will prove my reading about the drop in IQ scores in America. I almost feel bad about taking money from the illiterate who can't see how hungry the drug companies are for a new novel diabetes treatment as theirs go off patents. Oh well shorts just line up and give me your money.

You get a cigar today! Plus all the companies need more ammo its that simple. Once the sales numbers come in Q1 2015 we are looking at a true rocket ship. Until then lots or noise and one bump at partnership. If you want to be conservative buy Jan 2016 options and wait.

  • Sanofi ($SNY) has had a good long run with Lantus, one of the best-selling drugs in the world at $7.6 billion in 2013 sales. But the diabetes drug's days are numbered, and it faces threats from multiple competitors plotting avenues of attack. Sanofi is not going to just roll over for competitors, so what is its most likely counterattack? Maybe a fire sale for Lantus and diabetes products.

"To combat the various market threats, Sanofi will most likely have to focus on competitive pricing for its products, as the company currently does not have any other innovative products in its pipeline, apart from the Lantus-franchise safeguards, Toujeo and LixiLan," GlobalData Senior Analyst Valentina Gburcik explained in recent report.

  • I believe in long term success of MNKD. That said I posted here many times what the catalysts would be for the stock price. Anyone long term here made money on #1 Approval next will be partnership #2 but again trading 101 nothing goes straight up and people take profits and after the partnership announcement this will happen all over again. Its that simple thats why I posted clearly that until Q1 of 2015 is complete with some sales numbers there will be no catalyst for PPS large moves up. Thats why 2016 options are the way to go if you are looking for a buyout double or triple from here.Which is he same number George Rho has published. 27-30. Management and partners who may buy the company cannot establish a value without sales numbers. Without sales or earnings you have to expect the PPS to wander around and possibly go lower. I still beleieve the shorts will have to cover if they haven't already but with HFT Algo trading they can scrape money up and down like never before and avoid a one time bloodbath. This is the situation and how to play it.

Look after a big runup and no news until partnership what did you expect? Hang tight or reposition with options in the short or longer term when the real money comes via a buyout. After the partner announcement there will be no news until the end of Q1 2015 with sales results unless there is a surprise buyout which I doubt without sales numbers. Stocks move on earnings, buyouts or events like a partner not on future unrealized value, that phase is over. I made good money and will make much more from the buyout later. Until then on to other things.

You forgot the other thing they have. Your money HA!

  • What Does This Mean For Sales?

Afrezza can be prescribed for people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, but given the current dose equivalence table that appears in the prescribing information, it is most likely to be prescribed to people with Type 2 who are in very poor control, but have avoided using insulin out of fear of needles. Those who smoke or have asthma will not be getting Afrezza. But there should be enough people in that population without lung disease or smoking habits to provide a very good starting population for Afrezza.

It's important to realize that FDA labels are not static. As more data comes in, the label will change. The studies that the FDA has asked for are more likely to widen the potential market for Afrezza than to limit it.

Relax enjoy and wait for the inevitable stream of steady good news. Here is something to think about. MNKD is a veteran now of studies and that will make the Euro and Asian approvals a breeze. The profit taking will stop soon and the shorts will still need to cover the 30 million plus shares still out there.

Everyone here needs a lesson in algo trading. The seesaw is a result of algos scraping money up and down with no commissions. It can't last however and sooner rather than later it moves to the upside as shorts give up and short term holders get whatever profits they want. Probably in a day or two.

  • Fund managers use benchmarks to adjust their holdings. Many need to see stocks above 5 dollars and in the Biotech area they need to see FDA approval. Now that we have that you can expect all the major funds to add MNKD in varying amounts in the millions of shares. They more or less have to protect themselves from being left out of a blockbuster even if they don't completely buy the story yet. This will be an added significant boost or a regular basis.

    European approval of Afrezza

Lets see if "Harvard" has the class to apologize for being flat wrong! Type 2 adult onset is strongly correlated to obesity and is directly caused by fat cells blocking pancreatic dispersion of insulin. Look it up and post an apologise if you have the class. The USA is #1 in obssity in this hemisphere however Europe is average age older which is a risk factor and in the Middle East the obesity factor in the wealthy classes is even higher than here creating anoter huge future market.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • In addition to the current holders there will be steady buying by the big boys now tat approval is here. There is absolutely no downside anymore as the lael is clean and the studies minimal. If you eliminated children and copd patients entirely you would still have 99% of the market available and the rest of the world awaits!!! Sit back and let the noise go by. True higher pricing will unfold in the next few weeks and months.
