  • The world turmoil, blizzard in the Northeast which may affect trading Monday all this notwithstanding we are going ti kick such shorty butt very soon that I will be kicking myself for not investing more at these absurd levels. This is a fabulous product. "Afrezza User" in his testimony at ADCOM sets the standard for what is going to happen. Patients rule in the end and one will talk with another then it goes online then the older folks start comparing notes and its simply all over for shorty. There is going be a massive effort to ease the shorts out of their positions with bogus articles and algo trickery daily but at some point the dam breaks and the short positioned traders will turn on each other exactly like a one shark goes after another when they are wounded. That will be an exciting day!

Right on the mark and obvious from day one of this agreement. 2016 and 2017 options are a bargain for all these reasons and the absolutely certain buyout by Sanofi. In my opinion technosphere goes to Sanofi as well as part of the deal.

  • Now that we are through over half the month and the novelty of the oil shock is over and QE will soon be upon us from the ECB here is what the options are telling us. 1. Short term stock trading is so computer controlled that daily swings are only for pure gamblers. On the other hand stocks with good future prospects are getting high options action and often are going against what the day trade is saying. MNKD is resisting bear raids in the option pit very well. While the stock sold off a bit my options are up a bit. This is where the real action is these days. All the bad news is out even Fraudtstein has nothing more to say lately Launch in possibly 2 weeks.would you really want to be sitting short waiting for the axe to fall?

I smell desperation as every serious bear raid is turned back and launch is near. If you were expecting to cash out in the 4's you can forget it and go get some depends underwear. One piece of good news and 75 million shares head for the door.

You missed the slow but steady reduction in short positions. It costs money to be short and some are even on margin with interest payments. ts a matter of allocation of capital. Shorts are the ones with "dead money" now.

One of the pillars under this stock is Leon Cooperman's position. Not just because he doubled his position to 12% but because as the pps declines he will most certainly average down and buy more since he originally bought higher. I just saw a big move up and thats who logically will be buying. A CNBC trader today also Picked ATLS . He called it complicated but its not really that hard to figure out. Cooperman's original buys were over 29-30!! You have to figure he is looking for 50-100%.upside.

This is high powered finance at its best for longs of ATLS There are many moving parts here but Leon Cooperman doubled his position to 12%. Thats all you need to know. The seeking Alpha article goes into more detail but that author's estimate is a 64% return in 6 months. Don't try to trade this as the big boy algos have this one bookmarked to shake people out who try to day trade this one. Both boards of the companies have approved this so its vrtualy a done deal.

  • I can't wait for the whining later about how you sold in January because someone "fooled you" when we all know there is no real sales numbers until March or April. Mewhwhile there will be a launch soon and a few cents up as a result the real money is later. Meanwhile call option volume is increasing and that's where the smart money lives.

Update: A Dangerous Time To Be Short MannKind

You make money on the buy price. In a crazy market that will stabilize by the Spring at the latest we are sitting in a sweet spot having already come down to a bottom price from the highs and with a free ride from Sanofi for cash flow and marketing about to begin. What you are seeing now is just algo trading in a dwn market with bumps up as shorts cover at a good price. They know one good announcement and 78 million shares head for the same exit. Like a riot in a burning theater!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Positive article on seeking alpha.!! Google the title

The easy fit is type 2 diabetes for new patients who fail diet etc. MDT does not want to cannibalize their pump business but if Afrezza is well received then all bets are off quickly and a three way deal will be made and a buyout. This is my prediction. Probably before 2015 is over.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • This is from a new press release from Medtronic a company that Al Mann sold his company too after developing the insulin pump. Now Sanofi has signed a new agreement to focus on insulin device combinations ad type 2 diabetes compliance !! How obvious is it that Afrezza and the technosphere device will be included and eventually bought out lock stock and barrel !! How sweet its going to be !!

"The alliance will pair Sanofi's extensive insulin portfolio and drug development expertise with Medtronic's expertise in insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. One of the priorities of the alliance will be to deliver novel drug-device combinations, including new form factors that are affordable, convenient and easy to-use to increase therapy adherence and deliver better outcomes. These efforts will focus on improving the management of Type 2 diabetes, especially for people who cannot achieve glucose control even with multiple daily injections of insulin.
Care management services, another priority area for collaboration, will be delivered through a program designed to guide people with Type 2 diabetes who are failing to achieve disease control on oral therapies through the initiation phase of insulin treatment. Insulin initiation can be challenging as a high number of patients drop insulin treatment in this early phase."

  • 1.Milestones reached, money paid. 2. Afrezza gets added with no co pays to major insurance. 3. Al Mann discusses opportunities in a few days. Any new news and Katy Bar The Door!! I will especially enjoy the flood of "cover" stories paid for my the "Big Shorts" to completely screw the retail shorts into holding on while they buy to cover. We should start to see some of that into the close today with "market on close" buy orders.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • MNKD is starting to get "vaccinated" against the absurd articles paid for by the shorts.

Keep in mind that one lawsuit over tainted blood or plasma and the cost of adopting CERS technology becomes a minor relative cost of doing business. The extra money from the offering will more than pay for itself in new business.
