  • WDC already knows all the objections and qualms that have been written here. Lets look at why we are here and that is the stock price. I trade based on the new world of Algo nonsense and fundamentals. The Algos look for momentum and won't let go until it no longer works, They are simply programmed that way. Currently WDC is a momentum stock and the intraday patterns show that clearly. The ratios between the analyst projected yearly price of 55-59 dollars and the 52 week high of nearly 100 and low PE make this a short term buy for sure to the mid 40's. Beyond that and subject to actual results of the acquisition its anybody's guess but my vote is for slow but steady growth into the fall season.

You never get poor by taking a profit but IAG is a core holding for me. Love the liquidity and recent management moves. One day soon there will be an admission of the underlying inflation and then gold will exceed 1,500 an ounce in a minute.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • IAG is fighting the trend quite well. IAG appeals to gamblers for the low price and investors for a solid balance sheet. Buy on any dip. When the breakout comes it will be massive.

With the Market controlled by low life HFT traders and front running dark pool insiders its great to be in a stock with good volume as many good companies now trade with such low volume that they are easily manipulated. The future looks extremely bright for gold as the private meeting between Obama and Yellen sealed the deal of no interest rate hikes until after the election. The insanity of negative interest rates in Europe and the desire of Russia and China to dump the dollar and hoard gold along with OPEC's demise all signal higher gold in a big way.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I don't often quote Jim Cramer but in this case he is right. He advises to buy retail while they are in a growth cycle of adding stores as long as earnings are growing. This is where FIVE shines and is unaffected by all the foreign nonsense going on in the world. In addition the $5 dollar price is really the new $1 discount level and allows flexibility while still being an impulse buy for their target market.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Here is the "good news" the Fed cannot raise interest rates much because the economy minus the phony job numbers is weak and yet we are still at a 10 month high in contracts to buy. Next here is the "really good news" if and when the FED raises a measly 1-2% the panic buying of houses by people who fear the end of low rates will spike LL's business through the ceiling. Heads we win and tails we win even more!! The shorts are living in the past. People need housing no matter what other craziness goes on in the world.

Today is just a taste of the wedgie you will feel until you puke up your short and blame the "rigged" market for being unable to see a bargain. Pending home sales at 10 month high!

Just announced on Bloomberg Pending sales hit 10 month High!!

You make money in stocks on the buy in. LL is poised for a rebound into the Spring and Summer construction season and the cleanup of inventory at bargain prices is a plus not a minus. Consumers and contractors want the best price and this will bring people back in. The lawsuits are going for the company and their service and staff is focused. Bottom line the stock is cheap at these levels and thats what we are here for not a fundamental economic lesson. Up 30% in the next 6 months from here.

March Existing Home Sales were reported last week, and they showed a stark improvement over the disconcerting data reported in February. The annual pace of existing home sales increased 5.1% month-to-month, to 5.33 million. You can see in the chart here that sales rebounded from an extraordinarily low reading for February.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I've seen this movie before. The investor today retail or fund manager needs growth desperately and most missed the rebound in March and were dumb enough to believe Cramer who is always a good contrarian indicator. Now that most of the legal problems are out of the way the price and service advantage that LL has kicks in just in time for the Spring and Summer construction season. The 52 week range showing 50% more at least to go to recover from the legal hassles is like a red flag in front of the growth starved market bulls. You rarely get this in a company with 366 stores!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • People are over the scandal and want a good deal, service and wide selection from a specialist.

    How to Buy retail

The Market respects only one thing and that is growth and a clean balance sheet. Even Cramer is right on this one and as it adds store after store it will start to catch the eye of the big guys and will double over time. Comp store sales are great and in Florida alone 100 stores are planned.

Five is only in the beginning of a massive growth cycle. They are not doing it with debt and selling items 5 bucks or below gives them recession insurance. Cash flow is great, What's not to like?

5 bucks or less in this environment is a great thing. More stores all the time for years great growth and cash flow.

AXTA on its own is doing everything right as is. However with ultra low interest rates and the need for consolidation across all markets to achieve more profit AXTA looks ripe for offers. I have no insider information that this will happen but it seems logical to me.

Cramer has a proven 40% rate of success. He is an entertainer who credits his first wife for his best stock moves. He has such a shrill and annoying manner I wonder how anyone can watch him. CAT is a financially "Engineered" stock meaning the company is good at covering up a disastrous year. Its a sell but on a given day you can get your head cutoff from buybacks and other BS.

Past trends suggest that growing GDP, along with lower airfares, should provide JetBlue Airways (JBLU) with the required boost in traffic. As compared to legacy players American Airlines (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), and United Continental Holdings (UAL), its low-cost strategy should help it see higher traffic growth than these peers.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • JetBlue Airways revealed a rise in traffic to the tune of 19.1% on a 19.6%
