a few weeks back and I just about pulled the trigger on more today. I hoping a market pull back with some dog math will give me another chance. Time will tell, but happy so far and have only added shares. This trading around a core position is flawed when earned income taxes are applied. I prefer to stay capital gains. Working well for me. What I don't understand is for day trading (only-contango/backwardation), those leveraged etfs are a much more efficient way to go. Just my opinion; to each their own.
I like the magic 8 ball guess better-we will all know for sure tomorrow. Given the economic slowdown in q1 nation wide and disappointing retail sales, I say RAD is doing fairly well. My investing scheme is constantly changing with conditions, but as of now Im stay put with every single share and loading up more if the market gets stupid chasing oil and rainbows. RAD will continue to improve because of boomers, cheap money, and obamacare. Until one of those three changes, Im in. Crazy Cramer has one thing rite, if you cant stomach growing pains, then get the hell out of here. Despite what dog says, all longs have made big money with
RAD, but it aint easy money.
You might have a better chance at impacting the stock if you discussed the company's fundamentals, instead of up and down ticks. Secondly, when I jump on here and see how many times a day you post, it scares me just a little. Seriously, it is basically your life to trash this stock and since its not working out for you, the potential of refocused energy to somebody personal could get dangerous. I encourage you to sincerely find a better outlet and get some help. I guess what Im really saying is enjoy yourself and find something productive. Life is short, this stock is not.
I would really love to pack in with a bunch of people needing drugs to save a couple of bucks on a few popular scripts, especially when I could just use mail order and beat the price just about every time. Better than that, doing that social thing when flu is rampant. Drive thru is worthless, just look at the restaurant business. And quit changing ur name ace.
WBA would have 12000 stores with a RAD buy, its own PBM, its own overwhelming market share for the tune of 15 billion or less, and would take express to the woodshed. WBA would have to offer 70+ billion for esrx and still wouldn't have the store/counter space. For WBA to get that would cost tens of billions worth of building or another deal, which few mid-sized player are left. Place your feet in WBA shoes and decide on spending 15 billion vs +80 billion for the same result????? To me, there isn't a choice.
Very, very few really do. Id bet my ears that most on here have never read the accounting notes, and those that did, even fewer could really understand them. I prefer the industry, sector, company approach to picking over just randomly picking from news feeds/analysts. I think you need to understand economics first, accounting second, and politics third to preform the above. With all that #$%$ said; who in this circus really does? Mix that in with interpretation and its foggy at best. Short answer-that was a little harsh.
and not a single poster asked about RAD overlap? Prepping for a merger? Even the pumpers were asleep today! This type of action is not the norm for those folks, just found it interesting. Why would WBA pay through the nose for express when they will have a large enough market share at 12000 store to do their own for much, much cheaper?
the market is and will continue to be over priced until the fed raises, which prolly aint this year. The new debt will include new profits, and with any economy of scale, should more than pay for itself. Liked the long sky falling bit anyways; was entertaining.
I love it when dog/gonner/ace has to resort to pointing out market down ticks to find something wrong with RAD. It truly shows how little material they have. Week after week I read how dog is trashing this stock and yet is makes regular new highs. Ive seen a few riding the short bus, but Im starting to feel sorry for this guy, for real. You will become a happier and wealthier person when you start using logic instead of emotion. Most of us get fired, just let it go.
