So elk, Hitler was elected. He also had domestic accomplishments. What's your point?
Response. No revenue, no product, mostly true - a pittance of royalty revenue. No end line results, well of course since all anyone is expecting is interim results. 20 years ago was a kachina doll company - in correct, ACT never had anything to do with the doll company. 99% loss since IPO - for shareholders yes, the company's market cap has stayed about the same - reason for that is well known - company needed to raise cash to continue operations and to settle lawsuits from some very poor management decisions.
Read Jared Bernstein's column in the NYT, A Little Luck And A Little Mystery, for more details on this.
As many have said presidents probably get too much of the blame for a bad economy and too much credit for a good one.
JR what is the reason for that difference?
And cP gives me grief?
Nothing is more inane then your silly threats.
I think most investors in this stock know it's a huge long shot.
Anytime someone shows you any information that refutes or puts context around your position, you put your tail between your legs and run.
And based on other posts in this thread, Keep doesn't get it either - that market cap thing always confuses him.
Wells gets it. CPecker is clueless. And cP that doesn't mean the company doesn't have issues. It's just an explanation for why a company with seeming potential could have only a $.07 pps. Want another illustration? What was the market cap at the IPO versus today?
Not exactly Keep. I formed NO opinion on Wotton when he was selected since I personally had no exposure to the guy. I read his bio and I read some stuff on his prior company's MB, but until I see him in action myself I'll reseve judgement - I will say that some of his old flock opined that he was a poor communicator on the investor conference calls.
So the difference between you and I is that you formed an opinion based on some publically available PR information and I will reserve my opinion until the guy has some time on the job.
Who knows for sure at this point elk, but I don't think anyone every sugested that ID was a total defese against missles. But as you've pointed out in the scorekeeping, only 3 Israeli civilians have been killed
Great non response cole. Just like you always do when you hit a dead end - prove me wrong with an example? I of course can show your incessant pumping of RSH as it went off a cliff.
I've asked you, actually your other ID's, to produce even one post where I've irresponsibly pumped this stock - NOTHING. I've made no price predictions or even suggested a cure for any ailment. Actually I think I've been pretty fair. The science does show promise, that is, there have been no negative side effects from the trials and indications of disease improvement in many patients. I've also been crystal clear that the finances are a mess and could be the demise of the company.
You on the other hand ignore public information, not just from the company, but others involved in the trials and pronounce the trials and company a failure. So who is really the one doing the misleading?
You don't own the stock, so again why would anyone root for others to fail?
That would be nice dojo. The other possibility suggested is that these patients were so sick that the complication had nothing to do with the treatment. Still happy ACT is in the space it is - good management decision a few years back.
My opinion keep is a new CEO doesn't want their first communication to be fluff - that's why I don't think we'll hear from him until the Q2 call unless there is something on the peer review article. There's a certain economy to the 'do more, say less' mantra. I want news as much as anyone, but I want news that can move the price up and sustain it - a quick blip for the traders doesn't interest me.
(Reuters) - Cytori Therapeutics Inc said it has suspended enrollments in two trials of its experimental cell therapy for heart failure patients after a safety review.
The company's shares fell 13 percent in extended trade.
Cerebrovascular events - those related to blood vessels in the brain - were reported in studies to evaluate safety and feasibility of adipose-derived regenerative cells in patients with ischemic heart disease, the company said.
Symptoms occurred in three patients, the company said. Two patients' symptoms fully resolved within a short period, it said, while the third has experienced a substantial resolution.
Cytori's shares closed at $2.10 on the Nasdaq on Tuesday.
4. Excellent survival of infants with SCID after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
The most important clinical study was published this week in NEJM. Children with severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) and some other inherited immunodeficiencies had excellent survival if hematopoietic stem cell transplantation early:
We collected data retrospectively from 240 infants with SCID who had received transplants at 25 centers during a 10-year period (2000 through 2009).
… the survival rate was high regardless of donor type among infants who received transplants at 3.5 months of age or younger (94%) and among older infants without prior infection (90%) or with infection that had resolved (82%).
As soon as SCID is diagnosed – HSC transplant should be perform early on! Very important study!
What kind of person, roots and cheers for others to lose money? Let's say the results are poor, indications are that's not the case, but why would anyone root for a treatment to fail that could help millions?
Lanza and others have given their life to this endeavorer - why wish failure on those who've been so dedicated to a new science?
This is a nascent industry, with the hope to help all kinds of illnesses and disease. ACT is at the forefront of this effort - failure might mean the entire industry collapses. Why does that prospect elicit an LOL from some?
Success means a cutting edge industry for the 21st century generating thousands of jobs. Who would hope that never develops?
Keep, I really don't think we'll hear from Wotton until the Q2 conference call - unless of course something breaks with the peer journel.
Doubt that Keep. I didn't respond to any of his garbage for two weeks. I just don't see why he should be able to pollute this board without anyone calling him on it.
