It is mystifying why MNR gets so little coverage by financial analysts. This company has grown enormously in the years that I have held the stock. I just purchased 2,000 more shares. They recently rented a property that had been vacant for some time. This will add almost a half million to their bottom line. I guess I shouldn't complain because it allows me to continue to purchase shares at a very reasonable price.
Wouldn't you rather they use their money to grow the business? I would. They are careful guys. Trust them. The patriarch, Eugene, builds slowly. At some point the financial gurus will stumble across UMH and MNR and our patience will be rewarded.
I agree with batmensch. The dividend is generous enough. They are growing the business steadily and prudently which will be good for long-time holder like me. Be patient. Look elsewhere for financial home runs.
I am a long-time holder of the stock and have recently bought more. The stock has gone nowhere but the business is growing. Listen to the podcasts. Management sounds like they know what they are doing and have a workable business plan. This is a sleep-at-night stock; no home runs, but the price should increase over time. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the big players wanted to take UMH. Recent price performance is disappointing but be patient, I am.
