Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on UVXY at TheTechTrader site noting: The ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Fut ETF (UVXY) has had a big run, up 7.82 on Wednesday to 48.05, or 19%, on 20 million shares. For the first time in a while, very big volume has come in for this stock. It has had big volume before, but this is the biggest we’ve ever seen. The chart shows this stock as having several spikes, and it broke each time to the downside. These are ETFs, but, in my opinion, made to be declining-balance type stocks. Great for day trades, but it needs a follow-through on Thursday, or it could come right back down to the high 30’s, or to test Wednesday’s low at the 42-3 range. If it does get above Wednesday’s high at 49 1/2, you may see 56-7 short-term.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TGTX at TheTechTrader site noting: TG Therapeutics, Inc. (TGTX) is a swing trade that appears to be setting up nicely. It formed a little head-and-shoulders, popped through the neckline, then pulled back from resistance, and formed a nice little flag. On Tuesday, it broke out, up only 35 cents to 17.47, or 2%, but volume is pushing up to nearly a million shares. If it can get through this zone, which looks like it's going to do, look for it to move up towards 20, and beyond 20 to the mid-20’s.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on RDUS at TheTechTrader site noting: Radius Health, Inc. (RDUS) swing trade is acting great as well. It had a breakout mid-June, a swing was put on it, it popped, pulled back, and is now in a rising wedge, which is sometimes very bullish in an uptrend. If it maintains volume and breaks out above the 70 1/2 range in the next couple days, it could run to 80, and then near 100.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on LLY at TheTechTrader site noting: Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) has been doing great. During the last year and a half it has gone from the 47 range all the way up to Tuesday’s high at 88.78. After the big run-up in June, it spiked on heavy volume, formed a nice, bullish falling wedge, popped, broke out, but there was no follow-through. It then had another 3-day pullback on low volume, and was followed by the last four up-days in a row. On Tuesday, it broke out, and popped out of the wedge, up 2.38 to 88.73, or 2.76%, on 6.9 million shares. It appears this stock wants to go to the low-to-mid 90’s. Look for 95-6 as its target.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CLDX at TheTechTrader site noting:Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (CLDX) is coming along nicely. On Tuesday it was up 25 cents to 25.73, or 1%, on 1.2 million shares. When the base was forming in early 2014 a swing was put on it, it broke out in early 2015, and worked its way up very nicely in a 5-wave advance. Since then it’s had many 5-wave declines, or consolidations, that have lasted for the last three and a half months. So, it looks like this stock is getting ready for something. It’s been moving up, the volume has increased a little, and it’s right underneath resistance at the 50-day moving average at 25.87, and closed about 14 cents underneath that. If it gets a punch through here, and takes out the recent highs around 26.84, look for it to head up towards the short-term target at 30, then 32 1/2, and then 36.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SRNE at TheTechTrader site noting: Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (SRNE), which we picked when it was at the 5.00 range, and now it’s nearly 17 1/2, up 61 cents to 17.29, or 3.66%, on 575,610 shares traded on Monday. It ran up, pulled back, formed 3 large waves up, with the third one underway. The third wave could get it all the way up to 25. The little consolidation-flag pattern has some support around 16-16 1/4 pattern. The targets are 18.28, then 20-20 1/2, and eventually 25.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on RDUS at TheTechTrader site noting: Radius Health, Inc. (RDUS) has an outstanding chart, incredibly outstanding. On Monday, it was up 2.26 to 70.19, or 3.33%, on 797,265 shares traded. This stock has a shot at a run to 85, and then 98.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NLNK at TheTechTrader site noting: NewLink Genetics Corporation (NLNK) had a nice reversal day on Monday, up 2.51 to 45.73, or 5.8%, on nearly 600,000 shares traded. It had a nice pop through the moving averages, but it did not get through the declining topsline. The challenge will be to take out 47 3/4 that takes out the zone to let it run. The next target is to fill the gap at 50-53, and then the secondary target is 57-58.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on UEIC at TheTechTrader site noting: Universal Electronics Inc. (UEIC) is a Boxer Short, down 1.22 to 50.26. After it cracked it formed a bear wedge, cracked again and formed a bear flag, and looks like it still wants to go lower. If it drops below 50.26, then it could drop down to 42-43.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TNET at TheTechTrader site noting: TriNet Group, Inc. (TNET) is a Boxer Swing Short. It had a big break, a bear flag, and I put it out as a short. It already dropped about 4 points and now it dropped another 4. On Thursday, it was down to 68 cents to 25.74.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TAL at TheTechTrader site noting: TAL International Group, Inc. (TAL) dropped 1.74 to 33.72 on Thursday. It formed a topping pattern, rolled over, broke down, formed a wedge, dropped a little further, bear flagged, and got whacked for 6 1/2%. I’m not sure where the bottom is but there’s support around 31-32.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SNDK at TheTechTrader site noting: SanDisk Corp. (SNDK) was down another 44 cents to 63.35 on Thursday. It topped, rolled over hard, formed a bear flag, dropped lower, formed a bear wedge, and it's still coming down. The target on this one is 54-55.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on KORS at TheTechTrader site noting: Michael Kors Holdings Limited (KORS), a retailer, topped, stair-stepped down, flagged and formed a bear wedge over and over on its way down. It then made a breakaway move to the downside, forming an exhaustion gap or spike-down climax. However, the wedge that formed below the gap is indicating that it wants to move lower to 45 1/2. If it breaks here, it could drop 8-9 points. Be careful with this one.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NKTR at TheTechTrader site noting: Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR) was up 88 cents to 13.45, or 7%, on 6.8 million shares, and has been up 7 days in a row. It formed a head-and-shoulder base pattern that started to move. On Wednesday, it had a breakaway gap that may very well catch momentum and head up towards 14 1/2 short-term. The secondary target is 16 1/4.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TASR at TheTechTrader site noting: TASER International Inc. (TASR) was up 65 cents to 14.65, or 2%, on 2.2 million shares on Tuesday. It had a 5-wave move up, consolidated for a couple weeks, broke out again, and now it has a 2-day corrective flag. If it doesn’t break support, and it breaks out above 36, it could run to 40, and then 45.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SUNE at TheTechTrader site noting SunEdison, Inc. (SUNE) has a very nice rising channel. The falling wedge has broken, and it popped 93 cents to 32.13, or 3%, on 11.8 million shares on Tuesday. It looks like it wants to go up to 34, so keep an eye on this one. Eventually, I’m looking for this to be a 40-dollar stock.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NVAX at TheTechTrader site noting: Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) had a big breakout day on Tuesday, exploding through a double-top, up 1.15 to 11.11, or 11.55%, on 10 million shares. That’s big volume for this stock. Look for a little more upside, maybe a consolidation pullback. If it does give me the pullback I want, I’ll call for a swing trade up toward the 16-17 zone.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on BLOX at TheTechTrader site noting: Inf
oblox Inc. (BLOX) has been on our top stocks of the year list since Dec when it broke out. It has done very, very well and continues to push up. Lately, it’s been in a tight rising channel, which had a little coil, and on Tuesday, it popped out of that coil, up 62 cents to 27.94, or 2.3%, on 2 million shares. It looks like it’s on it way up to the 29-30 zone short-term.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TSEM at TheTechTrader site noting: Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM) is doing well. It had a breakout on Friday, and on Monday it gapped and ran up to resistance, up 98 cents to 17.00, or 6%, on 1.1 million shares, and closing at the highs going away. Look for run to 18-181/4, and if it gets through that, the secondary targets are at 22-23.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on POSN at TheTechTrader site noting: POZEN Inc. (POZN) has been fantastic, up 9 days in a row. On Monday it was up another 87 cents to 12.44, or 7.5%, on 1.3 million shares. It may be over extended, and a 15, 17, 20-dollar stock down the road, maybe more. For now, rhe targets are 16 1/2 and 19 going forward, and then we’ll see what happens after that.
