Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on UNIS at TheTechTrader site noting: Unilife Corporation (UNIS) had a nice move on Tuesday. Not only did it pop out of a wedge, it exploded near resistance, and closed at 4.56, up 54 cents, or 13.4%, on 9.6 million shares. After hours it traded all the way up to 4.78 again. It’s interesting that earlier in the session it reached 4.79. That’s the resistance for Wednesday. If it moves through, or gaps up above 4.80 on Wednesday, there’s some resistance at 4.90. If it gets through that, it’s off to the races.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NDRM at TheTechTrader site noting: NeuroDerm Ltd. (NDRM) had a explosive move and then a 3-wave corrective pullback. On Monday, it bounced, snapped back, and on Tuesday, it followed through. It took out the little double top at 15.05 that I was looking for. Now the test of the 18 1/2-19 zone may be had. I’ll be looking for it to get into the low-to-mid 20’s.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NVAX at TheTechTrader site noting: Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) is a junior biotech vaccination stock that has been great, particularly in the last few days. After breaking out and pulling back, it has run sharply from 5.82 to 7.43 in the last three sessions. It’s at a key resistance zone at the top of the channel, so it may get a little bit of a pullback/consolidation should it blow through there. The mid-range target is 8 1/2 coming up.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CLDX at TheTechTrader site noting: Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (CLDX) closed very well despite the pullback this morning after the explosive move in the last four days. It came off the low at 21.20 and closed at 22.35, up only 6 cents. If it can start to run, it could take out 24, and then we’ll see this stock at 28.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CSIQ at TheTechTrader site noting: Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ), a swing trade of ours, had a little 2-day pullback that started to move on Friday, and on Monday, it popped another 1.01, closing at 26.67, or 3.9%, on 3.3 million shares. That’s a little pickup in volume, but more importantly, when it does, if it does, get through the 27.35 area, it should test quickly the 28 1/2 range. Maybe it will even get up into the low 30’s, 33 looks like a good target.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NSPS at TheTechTrader site noting: NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NPSP) is doing very well. The long-term pattern shows a year and a half base, following a huge move it had in 2013 that took it from about 7 and change up to the mid 30’s. The consolidation has set it up for more upside potential. The longer-term pattern shows the possibility that it may be in an uptrend that could take it all the way up towards the mid-to-high 60’s at some point.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on NLNK at TheTechTrader site noting: NewLink Genetics Corporation (NLNK), one of our swing trades, is doing well. Looking at the chart, you can see the multiple-session highs, and the lows that it came off of on Tuesday, reaching as low as 35, and closing at 38.29, up 1.45, or 3.9%, on 3.4 million shares. That was a beautiful reversal. If it gets some more volume to take it definitively above 39 1/4, it may very well test the double-top at 42. The next target is 46-47.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SRNEat TheTechTrader site noting: Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (SRNE) looks like it’s in a nice set-up as the bull coil tightened ever so slightly but steadily. On Wednesday it was up 34 cents, or 3.5%. If the technicals can hold up, then this stock could still be a 13-14 dollar stock. It could happen in the next few weeks or the next few days.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TKMR at TheTechTrader site notTekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp. (TKMR) has a nice set-up. On Wednesday, it was up 64 cents to 24.25, or 2.7%, on nearly a million shares. The big gap a week ago was followed by a week-long consolidation wedge. My target is 29 1/2-3/4, if it can get over the 25.40 zone.ng:
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on FEYE at TheTechTrader site noting: FireEye, Inc. (FEYE) had another good pop on Thursday, up 2.21, or 7%, on 6.7 million shares, closing not far off the high. It was a good day trade as well. It needs to get through resistance at 34 1/2, and then it may start to run. That is the target for Friday. The secondary target is a recap of 37, and beyond that, 41-42 is the longer-term swing target.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on UNIS at TheTechTrader site noting: Unilife Corporation (UNIS) came down at support at the 20-day and lateral price support, and bounced. After hours they announced the secondary. It’s a shelf secondary, and some of it’s private through Piper Jaffery and Jeffries. They’re going to get this done very quickly. It may be done near the market price. I’m told not to think much of it. But, of course, we don’t want this stock down below 4, ideally. It was down 4.04 Thursday evening, so let’s just see if it holds and moves right back up again. Any move through 4.90, we’re looking at 5 3/4-6 1/2 range.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on FLML at TheTechTrader site noting: Flamel Technologies SA (FLML) had a key breakout on Wednesday, not only on an intermediate or long-term basis, the long term chart shows the highest level of seven years. It may very well lead to something more significant. But, for now, the breakout here has me thinking it’s going to move up to the top of the channel to the 21 zone. That’s my next target.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on IDRA at TheTechTrader site noting: Idera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (IDRA) had a nice reversal on Monday, opening at 3.80, it got up to 4.44, and closed at 4.41, up 37 cents, or 9.2%. The volume was a strong 4.7 million shares. It took out the double-top in the last two sessions, and that was a very strong close, which could lead to much higher levels. Targets going forward are 5 1/2 short-term and 6 1/2 intermediate-term.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on RDWR at TheTechTrader site noting: Radware Ltd. (RDWR) is acting great. It has a beautiful rising channel, with four legs up and the fifth leg developing. That could get it up to 23 1/2-24. The key is that Thursday was a big breakout. Looking at the long-term chart you can see the multi-year coil, plus it breaking out, could lead to mid-to-high 30’s.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on ACHN at TheTechTrader site noting: Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ACHN) had a pop around November 10-15, and since then it’s had two and a half weeks of a pullback kind of falling wedge. Tuesday and Wednesday were both good days with an increase in volume. On Wednesday, it was up 53 cents, or 4%, on 5.1 million shares. It looks to me like it’s really going to make a run at the 14 3/4-15 zone, and then my target is 17.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on FLML at TheTechTrader site noting: Flamel Technologies SA (FLML), one of our swing trades, is acting great. It had a big reversal day recently. Note, though, that it’s having a difficult time getting through 17.40. That’s what we are going to look for here. If it gets through there, the next targets are 19 and 21.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on VUZI at TheTechTrader site noting Vuzix Corporation (VUZI) had a big move today on news of the deal with Intel. It popped 1.25, or nearly 30%, to 5.46 on 1.2 million shares. That’s the biggest volume I’ve ever seen on this stock. The breakout, and breakaway gap above this entire base, tells me that this could very easily be a stock that runs up to 7 1/2-8
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on TASR at TheTechTrader site noting: TASER International Inc. (TASR) has an interesting way that it’s forming, a little wedge on lower volume within the confines of a rising channel. In afterhours it has a little bit of a tick up. It closed at 22.85, and traded up to 23.50. Something may be brewing there. We’ll have to see. But in any case, there’s a possibility of a strong opening on Wednesday. I’m still looking for that 28 level, maybe as high as 32-33 on an intermediate basis. It still has good momentum as far as I am concerned.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on VUZI at TheTechTrader site noting: Vuzix Corporation (VUZI), which reversed 41 cents off the lows on Thursday, was up 16 cents on the day, closing at 5.69. I like that. The volume was good, but the stock is still consolidating. It may do that for a few more days before it takes off, but I’m confident that when it moves it will make a big move.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SRRI at TheTechTrader site noting: Silver Standard Resources Inc. (SSRI) is one of several silver stocks that broke out on Monday, up 52 cents to 6.29, or 9%, on 3.8 million shares. The key is that the base is broken and the volume is picking up. The next target could be a test of 6.71 early on, and then the 7-7 1/4 range. The secondary target is set at 7 3/4-8.
