  • Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on UEIC at TheTechTrader site noting: Universal Electronics Inc. (UEIC) formed another bear wedge on Thursday. There was the big one, then it flagged twice, and now another mini bear wedge, all telling me that this isn’t done yet. If it gets below support, it could get down into the high 30’s.

  • Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on DATA at TheTechTrader site noting: Tableau Software, Inc. (DATA) made a strong move down on Thursday, down 42 cents to 95.08. It wedged down, went down, and then wedged again. It looks like there’s one more leg down at the 90-86 zone, and then it may run down to the 80-76 zone.

  • Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on FTK at TheTechTrader site noting: Flotek Industries Inc. (FTK) had a wonderful day on Thursday, up another 10 cents to 20.30, on 2.3 million shares. When it popped it had a lot of upside surge on it. The volume was good, but not great, and it reversed. It did close with a gain, but disappointing, closing 1.40 off the high. When you see that, it could be a reversal day. It pulled back in the 19 zone where it might have the opportunity to have a swing trade put on it. I think it’s going to 23 1/2, and then 26. .

TheTechTrader site noting: Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SYMBOL at TheTechTrader site noting: Trevena, Inc. (TRVN) has been exploding out of a base pattern, up on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, it was up another 2.35 to 11.44, or 26%, on 11.6 million shares. It’s been up 5 days in a row, and reached a new IPO high. Any pullback consolidation in that zone could set it up for mid-teens.

TheTechTrader site noting: Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SYMBOL at TheTechTrader site noting: Lipocine Inc. (LPCN) is acting great, up on Wednesday 1.34 to 16.93, or 8.6%. Since June, the base pattern was taken out with a thrust, they formed a flag or wedge, another explosive move took place, and then they had a sharp pullback. That held the trendline, price support, and moving averages, and came sharply off of that. It’s been up 7 consecutive days. I expect it to test 17 3/4-18, and then run with a target of 21 1/2-22.

TheTechTrader site noting: Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SYMBOL at TheTechTrader site noting: Flotek Industries Inc. (FTK) is looking good. It popped another 1.01 to 20.20, or 5.3%, on 2.7 million shares on Wednesday. That’s the strongest volume in 5-6 weeks as it breaks out across key resistance. The gap at 20.33 was tested with a 20.27 tick. If it gets into the gap fill, or even higher, I could see this stock at 23-23 1/2 short-term.

TheTechTrader site noting: Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on BLDR at TheTechTrader site noting: Builders FirstSource, Inc. (BLDR) has been doing very well. After the explosion in April, they consolidated for several months digesting the gains, of course, and merger. It then popped, pulled back, held the trend line, and now the snapback is under way. On Wednesday, it jumped 1.05 to 15.45, or 7.4%, on 1.8 million shares. That’s the biggest volume in several weeks. It’s up against resistance. Look for a test of the 17-dollar range short-term, and then 20 1/2. Those are the targets.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CRTO at TheTechTrader site noting: Criteo SA (CRTO) had a big drop last week in which we did great, but when it rallied back to resistance, we weren’t sure about it. It is rolling over. On Tuesday, it dropped another 2.08 to 37.13. Unless it bounces on Wednesday, it could come down to the low 30’s.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CEB at TheTechTrader site noting: CEB Inc. (CEB) is looking pretty bad. On Monday, I talked to you about the bear wedge. On Tuesday, it got clobbered for 2.69 to 68.93. It looks like it’s going to test the Jan lows around 66 3/4-67 as early as Wed morning. Through that it could see 64, even 59-60 to fill the gap.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on LPCN at TheTechTrader site noting: Lipocine Inc. (LPCN) is doing very well. Even though it did get a sharp pullback, it held the trendline and lateral price support as well as the moving averages and 50-day, and bounced nicely on Tuesday. It was up 87 cents to 15.59, or 6%, on 437,301. The volume was okay, not great, but what I’m looking at is if it can get through the 15.90-16.00 zone to test the old spike highs up about 17.83. If it gets through that, then look for 20-21 as the next target.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on DERM at TheTechTrader site noting: Dermira, Inc. (DERM) has really been acting well, up 24 cents to 25.94 on Tuesday. It’s not a heavily traded stock, but it does have a very strong chart pattern. The fifth wave up may be underway, but I want to see it get through the double top. Resistance is at the 27.76 level, which is the short-term target. The secondary target is 30, and then maybe 32.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on DATA at TheTechTrader site noting: Tableau Software, Inc. (DATA) is not looking so good as of late. After breaking the trendline and gapping down, it formed a wedge and broke down again, down another 2.99 to 94.17, or 3%, on 2.5 million shares. It’s at secondary support. If that breaks the support level, which is under 90, it may be headed down to the mid 70’s. Be careful with this one.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CMPR at TheTechTrader site noting: Cimpress N.V. (CMPR) is looking ugly. After the top broke, and it formed a massive pattern, it dropped back another 3.48 to 69.98, or nearly 5%, on a little over a half million shares on Monday. It seems to be indicating that it wants to go lower, testing 60, maybe even 50 at some point.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SYMBOL at TANH site noting: Tantech Holdings Ltd (TANH) has been beautiful. It’s had at least 6 waves up, possibly 7, and it broke out again on Monday, up 1.18 to 31.09, or 4%, on 231,800 shares traded. It’s been up 5 consecutive days, and I'm looking for it to head up toward 40, which is the target on this one if it doesn’t pull back and retest first.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SNMX at TheTechTrader site noting: Senomyx Inc. (SNMX) had a good day on Thursday. The swing trade that we put out worked for a couple days, and then the market pulled it down. When it held support, and the 50-day, it popped out on Thursday, up 58 cents to 7.39, or 8.5%, on 550,200 shares traded. Look for a target of 8.00 next, then 10.00, and then 12 3/4.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SCMP at TheTechTrader site noting: Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SCMP) is acting great, and made another new all-time high on Thursday at 28.18, before backing off and closing up 27.92, up 3.37, or nearly 14%, on 1.7 million shares. Good volume. Good technical action. It looks like it’s headed to 33.00.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on HRTX at TheTechTrader site noting: Heron Therapeutics, Inc. (HRTX), a swing trade of ours, pulled back, tested support, ran up and tested resistance, pulled back, and now it’s moving up again. On Thursday, it was up 1.96 to 33.36, or 5.9%, on 638,000 shares traded. Keep an eye on this one because it acted so well in a down market it will invariably go higher. Targets are 43, and eventually 50, or better.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on EFOI at TheTechTrader site noting: Energy Focus, Inc. (EFOI) was a terrific swing trade. When it broke out on Wednesday, we put it out in the morning, and on Thursday, it extended all the way up to 22.47, which was the first targets. At that point, it got some selling and backed off. Still, it was up 97 cents to 19.57, or 5.2%, on 1.8 million shares, closing off the high by 2.90. That could be a reversal day, we’ll just have to see. A lot of times there is a breakout and pullback like that near the old high, and then it come right back up again. Looks good for 26-7 zone, eventually, which is the target.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on SRPT at TheTechTrader site noting: Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (SRPT) pulled back gently each day, and on Wednesday, it reversed 1.59 to 34.17, or nearly 5%, on 2.6 million shares. It held support, trendline and moving averages. Put a stop at 30.30, 36.90 is resistance, and targets are 40, and then 45.

Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on EXPR at TheTechTrader site noting: Express Inc. (EXPR) had a big day on Wednesday, up 3.35 to 20.25, or 20%, on 11.2 million shares. This stock has been stair-stepping its way higher, it rolled over, tested the support level, and bounced. On Wednesday, it gapped up and ran hard, reaching 20.42, before pulling back and closing at 20.25. Wednesday’s volume is the largest volume ever seen on this stock. The target is 21 1/2-3/4, and beyond that, you could see a retest of the highs near 25.
