Somebody just taking a "flyer". The Jan 15's seem like a stretch to me. I could see maybe getting to $15 by year end
but to go beyond would take a good jump up in oil prices and some success in the Miss Lime play which to me
doesn't appear very promising. At best it will be hitting "singles". The wild card would be some "out of nowhere"
breakthrough with their lifting technology.
My target remains $14. End game remains Denbury takeover or switch to MLP in my opinion. Timing, by fall.
Just my opinions.
No news is probably bad news in my opinion. My fear is that the Dan Hughes well may have partially drained our acreage through a natural fracture system. That would be very bad news. I would like to know what is going on with
the well out in the gulf. I would just like to know a little more of what is going on period. Stock price of MCF and Crimson not looking very strong, actually looking pretty weak.
Or Did the Dan Hughes well drain our acreage through connected fracture system. There certainly
should have been some news by now, these wells don't have the long flow back period for frac fluid
like other horizontals. Price of USEG, Crimson and MCF all been drifting down. My guess is well is
not a "barn burner" by any stretch. Just my hunch. Let's get an update from the company.
to high level programs. Ouch. Why are contractors getting to see this kind of info at all?
Hard to come up with a scenario that would get us anywhere close in my mind. Maybe $6 with
good price for Medusa, oil ovef $90 and excellent permian results. Lay out your scenario for $12
if you wish.
I think it is a possibility but it will take 18 months in my opinion. In the meantime I think a "pop" back
to $11 could happen in the next month. Just my opinions.
Seems like they ought to know something by now and the way the stock is acting it's not great news.
Gold down, miners down, ANV turns on a dime and rockets up an heavy volume?
Try by end of Sept. There has been a "sea change" in the perception of Intel. For the last year everyone said
it was "done". Now the perception is changing big time and everyone is just beginning to jump on board.
I think $35 by year end is realistic.
When is it supposed to TD? Thanks.
I don't have a good enough handle on their holdings. I think demographically Vietnam looks great for future
growth.
I didn't see that. I wonder if they are worried about a "hostile" offer for the company and see the
threat of a "shelf" offering as a way to diffuse the threat. I can't think of any other reason why they would
file a shelf for that large of an amount. Maybe Denbury got rebuffed with a friendly offer and now is going
to play "hard ball"? All just hypotheticals I'm running through my mind.
Back to $5+ by year end. ECA may struggle back to $30. Just an opinion.
Good sign. Someone is buying for some reason. Oil stocks are pretty much all down again today.
and the entire sector was "red" today while PWE closed up 2.15%
Does it mean anything? Who knows. Somebody was actively picking up shares though which seems to be
a rare occurence here.
It's non-convertible. That said 10% is just more "expensive" money. They need to get some
serious cash for Medusa and get the deal done sooner rather than later.
When can we expect? Thanks.
I wonder if there will be crimiinal prosecuation? Schmidt,Page, Brin in the slammer? That would slam the stock. Of
course it's like GE in this country never paying any US income tax. The big companies with multinational presence can always make the earnings appear "offshore" somewhere and avoid taxes. The US should have a 15% corporate tax , close all the loopholes and they would ultimately bring in a lot more corporate tax even though
the rate was substantially lower. But that makes too much sense.
