this is just one of many but here we go.
market cap on cisco : $130 billion
market cap on JNPR : $13 billion
current market cap on ALU : $10 billion
future market cap on ALU when ALU becomes "normal" company that makes profit and generate respectable cash-flow : somewhere between cisco and JNPR : $50~60 billion, which translates into $20/sh price...
hold it for 2 years and then we will talk :)
went to a neighborhood liquor store and got me the cheapest bottle of whiskey
(Kentucky Deluxe?? anybody ever had one?)
just in case, u know. but i hope i won't have to open the bottle tonight :)
you can never beat the market by trading. i nearly lost everything (that i set aside for stock investment) by doing just that.
wall st. crooks gets paid millions a year by suckering small investors like you and they do that with the aid of
computer and sophisticated software that automatically trades thousand times in a minute.
you, with a laptop, comcast cable, and a soda sitting in ur living room, what are the odds u beat them????
the only way to beat them is NOT participating their own game. pick a stock with lots of potential, and stick to it
long term. do not play their games. u have no chance.
my ave. price on alu is $2 and there's been some scary moments during which i was tempted to sell.
but i knew that would be playing their games. i knew i had no chance beating them. so i did the best thing i knew how by not doing a darn thing.
stocks like ALU comes in once or twice in lifetime. u should be thankful that you found ALU. don't be stupid by
trading and trying to beat the market. invest as much as you can afford to lose, sit back, and do not do a darned thing. and you will be thanking me a year from today
you only made 30k today? i made 3000000000000000000k today, shorting this bear. you are stupid to have made only that much.
hope everything works out ok.
how much did u lose on ocz?
if you are long enough on ALU, u kinda become numb to such fluctuations in price... sit back and relax. i ain't looking at it too closely until it hits double digits early next yr...
not that i would ever have anything to do with AMD but if somebody put a gun to my head, i'd go short, rather than long on AMD...
