zordiac They can not issue stock for more than the market price. Who would pay more for the stock than what it is trading at ?

Now I'm going to take a guess.......this is from the PR....."The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering."

My guess is that there may be some kind of positive announcement in the near future, and they may wait for a better stock price to actually issue the shares.

I'm guessing that based on their statement that ....."The offering is subject to market conditions".

And based on the fact they announce a new share offering......but no amount of shares or price ? Usually it's all announced at the same time.

If a positive announcement appears, then they've already announced a new share issuance and they can just go ahead and do it.

But like I said, I think they want to wait for a more lucrative price.

The higher the price the less shares they have to issue.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I doubt if they will issue much more than 2 M shares. Maybe even less, or a little more, but definitely not 10 M shares.

My brother previously had NEO, and when they issued more shares the stock initially dropped, but recovered very fast. I see an opportunity coming, and I will try and lower my average price. I've kinda been hoping for this, even though I'm already very long here.

He also was/is waiting for this opportunity. The initial expected response is panic, but in reality here, this is an opportunity.

    NEO support falling?

dg4510 You are psyching yourself out. If you are going to be concerned with every tick of the stock you really should take the pressure of yourself and sell and move on.

You are putting too much emphasis on the small picture, you need to look at the bigger picture here,

Many people today look at stocks like it's a video game instead of an investment, if you look at any chart of any stock in an instant you will see that there was not a moon shot, the whole stockmarket is totally about psychology, the old fear/greed thing.

The business that NEO is in is not going away, or not going out of style, not a fad, if management thinks things are looking up we have to take them at their word and just be patient to be rewarded.

Look beyond the daily fluctuations, and try and realx. Things will all fall in place.

The only absolute correct comment anybody can make about a stock will fluctuate....Guaranteed !

You have to be able to live with that, or be out of it.

  • this_isnt_my_real_alias by this_isnt_my_real_alias Jul 25, 2014 6:31 PM Flag

    But that's understandable, that's what makes a stock-market.

10,000 More shs. for me today, and may take more if the price gets any better than today.

But I think today was the bottom, or real close to it IMO.

Still the same company, that could possibly be scooped up.

  • Out of the clear blue......Like Allen Funt used to say,....."somewhere, sometime, when you least expect it......WHAM !

    Surprise !

Hey semanresu If you are not aware that those "writers" for MF, and SA are nothing but glorified message board posters, you must be really new to this game.

I previously had another stock that one of the posters on that message board was an "article writer" for SA, and he would divulge on the message board what his next article was going to be.

And within two days his "article" would appear.

Stevie Wonder can see right through their amateur garbage.

I once found a site while googling, for SA hiring "writers" for them, working from your own home for $20 an hour. I never could figure how they could figure how many hours they worked and could prove it.

Hey milkman, you've clearly proven you know not what you are talking about with your "50" day slap down comment, so I suggest you cease and desist from further embarrassing yourself.

Or, if you choose, continue on as the message board clown.

Every board has at least one.

Hey biorunnerzz It is you that better do should do some research.

He CLEARLY states in his post the "50".....and the 50 day is the SMA, and that is $3.47.

The only for 20 days, and even that is at $3.54.

Regardless, the longer the MA the more the significance, that is why the 50 day and the 200 day MA are the most talked about on charts.

The 20 day, or EMA.......are used more for daytraders.

Do yourself a favor and read a little slower, and try not to move your lips while reading.

What the hell are you talking about ? The 50 day is $3.47 .

semanresu Says....."There are already 48M+ reasons people would like to see EXEL go down in flames. Is that not enough?"

semanresu Your amateur frame of mind is shining through.

So what you are assuming is that just because the shorts want EXEL to is written in stone?

    Shorts are NEVER wrong ?

    Yah right !

semanresu.....Do you sincerely think that any other company that has a stake in EXEL, or knows of EXEL , they will let EXEL go down in flames.........because of lack of fuel ?

You are not using one scintilla of common sense.

erniewerner.......When you say...."Even if it were a material event (which is not generally considered to be the case).......are you saying that a buy-out not a material event ? Racking my brain I can not think of anything more "material" to stockholders.

And the prohibiting of "selective release of insider information" is talking about selecting to only release information to any other individuals.............while not releasing that same information to the general public (stockholders) at the same exact time it is released to anybody.

    Fair Disclosure, Regulation FD

On August 15, 2000, the SEC adopted Regulation FD to address the selective disclosure of information by publicly traded companies and other issuers. Regulation FD provides that when an issuer discloses material nonpublic information to certain individuals or entities—generally, securities market professionals, such as stock analysts, or holders of the issuer's securities who may well trade on the basis of the information—the issuer must make public disclosure of that information. In this way, the new rule aims to promote the full and fair disclosure.

Right now PACB is following the same action as ILMN. Looks like some profit-takers scared weak hands into following suit.

nimumu Are you for real ? The company is NOT selling stock on the "open" market, what you you are posting is past financing activities.

Do you seriously think the company can sell MILLIONS of shares in one day on the open market.......and the stock only goes down......20 CENTS ?

Go back to the GTAT message board where they scoffed at you there also.
