Out of the clear blue......Like Allen Funt used to say,....."somewhere, sometime, when you least expect it......WHAM !
Hey semanresu If you are not aware that those "writers" for MF, and SA are nothing but glorified message board posters, you must be really new to this game.
I previously had another stock that one of the posters on that message board was an "article writer" for SA, and he would divulge on the message board what his next article was going to be.
And within two days his "article" would appear.
Stevie Wonder can see right through their amateur garbage.
I once found a site while googling, for SA hiring "writers" for them, working from your own home for $20 an hour. I never could figure how they could figure how many hours they worked and could prove it.
Hey milkman, you've clearly proven you know not what you are talking about with your "50" day slap down comment, so I suggest you cease and desist from further embarrassing yourself.
Or, if you choose, continue on as the message board clown.
Every board has at least one.
Hey biorunnerzz It is you that better do should do some research.
He CLEARLY states in his post the "50".....and the 50 day is the SMA, and that is $3.47.
The EMA......is only for 20 days, and even that is at $3.54.
Regardless, the longer the MA the more the significance, that is why the 50 day and the 200 day MA are the most talked about on charts.
The 20 day, or EMA.......are used more for daytraders.
Do yourself a favor and read a little slower, and try not to move your lips while reading.
Hey milkman I guess you assume nobody will look and see what you are talking about?
What the hell are you talking about ? The 50 day is $3.47 .
semanresu Says....."There are already 48M+ reasons people would like to see EXEL go down in flames. Is that not enough?"
semanresu Your amateur frame of mind is shining through.
So what you are assuming is that just because the shorts want EXEL to fail..............it is written in stone?
Shorts are NEVER wrong ?
Yah right !
semanresu.....Do you sincerely think that any other company that has a stake in EXEL, or knows of EXEL , they will let EXEL go down in flames.........because of lack of fuel ?
You are not using one scintilla of common sense.
erniewerner.......When you say...."Even if it were a material event (which is not generally considered to be the case).......are you saying that a buy-out offer......is not a material event ? Racking my brain I can not think of anything more "material" to stockholders.
And the prohibiting of "selective release of insider information" is talking about selecting to only release information to any other individuals.............while not releasing that same information to the general public (stockholders) at the same exact time it is released to anybody.
Fair Disclosure, Regulation FD
On August 15, 2000, the SEC adopted Regulation FD to address the selective disclosure of information by publicly traded companies and other issuers. Regulation FD provides that when an issuer discloses material nonpublic information to certain individuals or entities—generally, securities market professionals, such as stock analysts, or holders of the issuer's securities who may well trade on the basis of the information—the issuer must make public disclosure of that information. In this way, the new rule aims to promote the full and fair disclosure.
Down the road, when we look back and say,.......on 7/8/2014 I coulda doubled up on PACB, I shoulda.
Buy when many are messing their pants.
Right now PACB is following the same action as ILMN. Looks like some profit-takers scared weak hands into following suit.
It's not very hard to shake some people loose. Many times you see this kind of action just previous to a good run. Just have to wait and see.
nimumu Are you for real ? The company is NOT selling stock on the "open" market, what you you are posting is past financing activities.
Do you seriously think the company can sell MILLIONS of shares in one day on the open market.......and the stock only goes down......20 CENTS ?
Go back to the GTAT message board where they scoffed at you there also.
nimuma.......First you say....."My guess is Pacbio was dumping shares in the open market these days to get more cash."
Then you go on to say......."they have been doing that for many monthes."
My question to you is, how long have you been in the guessing game ? And have any of your guesse ever been correct ? And if so, can you point to any, or even one of them that have been correct.
And please, don't guess at how many times you have been correct.
Just the facts please, just the facts.
Sells stock.........but there is only one reason an insider buys stock, and it's not because the insider thinks the stock will be heading down
Not to mention that this particular 114,000 share buy, by an insider........could have been acquired at a much lower price than it was bought at........just a matter of days before his buy.
Patience here will be handsomely rewarded.
MRK Buying IDIX even though IDIX has collaborations with....."The company has a collaboration agreement with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Novartis Pharma AG; ViiV Healthcare Company; and GlaxoSmithKline."
So don't think that just because Roche bought Genia, that that will stop any other company from scooping up PACB.
And look at how much MRK is paying for IDIX., Friday 6/6/14 IDIX closed at $7.23. Monday 6/9/14 IDIX closed at $23.79, on the announcement.

Pacific Biosciences and GenDx Initiate Co-marketing Activities for Full-Length HLA Gene Sequencing Products
UTRECHT, The Netherlands and MENLO PARK, California, USA — June 19, 2014 — Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc., (Nasdaq:PACB) provider of the PacBio® RS II DNA Sequencing System, and GenDx, a pioneer in the area of sequence-based typing and next-generation sequencing for HLA typing, today announced a co-marketing agreement to offer products for full-length HLA gene sequencing.
The Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) system consists of a large family of highly variable genes and allelic variants that forms the basis of the human immune system. High-resolution HLA typing and sequencing of the complete gene enables determination of even the smallest variations between HLA alleles.HLA allele-specific genotyping is critical for autoimmune disease-association studies, drug hypersensitivity research and other applications. Thus, there has been an ever growing interest in characterizing the HLA genes in their entirety.
GenDx, which currently offers reagents for the amplification of full-length, Class I HLA genes, will offer a version of its NGSgo® reagent line with barcoded primers developed with Pacific Biosciences for sequencing on the PacBio RS II DNA sequencing system. Using the GenDx NGSengine software package to analyze data from the PacBio system provides customers with a highly accurate, allele-level HLA typing solution. This new reagent kit will allow the pooling of full-length, Class I HLA genes from multiple samples into a single sequencing run. More information about the new solution and ordering information can be found at
The chart looks real good, higher daily lows, and volume tapering off.
Sellers are mostly dissipating at this price range.
For some reason not been able to post now for about three or four weeks.....anybody else having that problem? The way this message board looks, I'm thinking a lot of posters are also unable to post. I'm surprised I'm able to post this. Have not been able to post, rate anybody elses post, or anything at all.
