If he walked due to FCC demands, T would have tanked even worse.
My guess would be that the CFO speaks up in the CC and we hear the div is more secure with this acquisition and the FCC didn't bend T over as bad as the reaction we see now
manipulator = stephenson
earnings after the bell, a chance to straighten out just how far did the FCC bend the CEO over :(
unions = extortion
union motto - the co. can afford it
how did that work out for GM? bankrupt and then a $10B gift from the taxpayers
try being an employer, employees are rough to have :(
1 out of every 10 is good, you whine, you file false worker's comp claims, you steal, you talk way too muchshit, and you always think the boss/owner has it easy. Try dealing with customers and the gov't, it isn't fun.
Now the gov't is making businesses provide 1 hour paid sick time for every 30 hours worked? telling us we have to pay $15 an hour in some places. It is amazing how the left is ruining the country and business. Downright sad.
"that business owner he didn't build that business, you did" what anassholeintheoval office
no i know you're not a celg bear :)
If we get a pop I may sell some of my higher purchased shares but I just wonder where I buy them back? I expect celg to go to 250/260 but that is way out in 2020. Wouds be so much easier to hold if I got paid to wait (div).
the supposedly neutral FCC is being strangled by the current transparent administration and you're correct the T CEO is being reamed and shareholders along with it, sad. Can only hope there is some hidden gems we don't know of yet.
Next T will lose the sole rights to the NFL that DTV has enjoyed and it will be an awful purchase after all.
If that happens, CEO needs to go.
After the bell tomorrow lets hope something is said in the CC. Certainly an analyst will ask. If the question is dodged, not a good sign.
ontopofitall4u, that was the rage 20 years ago, it is called Daytrading and most who still try it have more than 1 account so you don't have to wait the 3 days. It ruined many people and is very risky :(
That's why they changed it so you can't go in & out all day long.
Cramer took a call yesterday from a lady on CVX. Sell it on the pop, there are more seaten down oil stocks that better to buy.
Day later Goldman says buy 2 oils, sell 2. One of the sells was CVX. Did Cramer ever really quit GS? GS says div cut concerns for CVX. Nice to read, eh?
