That seems very unlikely. If it had any remote possibility do you think the shareholder would dispose of shares in such a manner as to crush share price and eviscerate their return in the process?
If it is a conspiracy it would seem as though AWM is seeking to do exactly what it is doing for some twisted reason.
There are no sure things,...don't trust a co that has had 3 reverse splits in 2 years.
It is however due for a technical bounce.
There has been some weird trading for over a week with large size trades going through at the bid without price drop. Today right out of the gate major volume at bid which moved up quickly from the low.
I am not so sure that those trades at the bid are really sells. I am wondering if they are buys by probably 1 entity who is accumulating shares.
I have seen big price drops at the open on other issues for no apparent reason only to rebound significantly and start a major run. Time will tell but I hope so because I took the opportunity to pick up more shares.
On a historic day in the markets HTM still looks strong. ( I took the opportunity to accumulate some today )
There was heavy negative volume at the open. I believe that was panic selling and perhaps selling to cover margin problems in other issues.
Some peculiar trading on this atypical day. I saw lots of 400 and 500 share trades go off at the bid without price falling. I wonder if the company is stepping up and buying some shares today.
HTM has no exposure to China and many analysts argue that low oil prices bode well for geothermal. After the fear of buying anything subsides, these factors will bode well for HTM and will attract buyers.
This is the place to be.
I think, and hope,...that he is too conservative in his estimates.HTM is up 25% over 3 months. If that trend continues we will be at .78 by the end of November. I happen to think we will be higher than that.
Right now we are in the midst of the dog days and without significant news, volume is unlikely until mid September. Look at HTM is holding up during this period,..that shows real strength.
i appreciate wrenn's post and optimism I think however that it does not account for the craziness of the market. Soon shares will be hard to get and when critical mass is hit chasers will come in and drive up the price quickly That is my expectation. We shall see.

I questioned trading over the last few days of last week. Then there was that friday drop at the close on 592 shares. I didn't know what to make of it but in the back of my mind I wondered if it was a shakeout, Looks like that is what it was after, I believe, a trader dumped 40K near the open on Fri.
I can see how 2 press releases prior to earnings can cause some consternation and questionable timing. We shall see but, given that there actions have not shown otherwise, I am taking HTM management at their word when they say HTM pps is undervalued. ( check out other publicly traded geothermals ) I think earnings will be stronger than expected and HTM sees .70 this month, maybe this weekl.
What gets me is the long sequence of small sized lots going off at the bid in the afternoon for the past 3 days. What do you make of that? Does not appear to be traders selling out for the weekend. It strikes me as either a large entity disposing of a large block of shares in a controlled manner or, a large entity acquiring a large block of shares at a low price. I do not know what to make of it but it is a bit disconcerting.
The chart that I thought was so pretty a few days ago now looks like it needs to fix itself up a little.
Actually,...I was concerned enough that I just called Doug at HTM. It was good to talk to him.I asked him if there were plans to take the co private. Of course, he could not tell me one way or the other as that would be inside info. So,..all I can say is I hope not.
He did say that he was glad to see movement in the pps today and says that he feels it is under valued. I agree.
Funny you should say that,...i was wondering the same thing. After watching trades yesterday with so many small trades going through on the bid. Then when you consider how Dennis Giles moved 80k share to his kids recently,...
I hope not. The last issue I had that went private did so at a price far lower than its worth.
Once momentum traders jump on an issue they can make any news reason enough to drive up price. Once critical mass is hit momentum takes over.
I would not be surprised if we see .71 by the end of august, even the first half of the month.I am hoping for much larger gains but I don't like to prejudge. Its best just keep a clear head and listen to what the chart is saying.
Right now this is a beautiful chart,..one of the prettiest I have ever seen.
Very strong close. 11k at 7.51closing trade.
Looked over some f your posts,..you seem very knowledgeable. It has been a slow, boring uptrend. That is what I like about it but, I think it is very capable of a very sharp up move. It happened in 3/14 when it went from .5 to 1.1 in a week. I think it is very capable of surpassing that. Pressure is building. Once resistance levels begin to fall, new ones will be breached quickly. ( imo, we are well over $1 by eoy )
Not according to my charts. After dropping to $18,.. 2 weeks after its peak,a peak that was reached over a week rally from $8, it rebounded to $25 before its decline.
All of course which is beside the point. Citi had a target of $15 and CALA more than doubled that in short order.
