I still want the market cap around $100 million before I buy. So I figure somewhere in the $3 range would be a good buy. The company really needs to put themselves for sale with a company that can move at faster pace

Since this slipped under $5 there will be some margin calls. Most brokers require a large equity % for stocks under $5

  • I'm looking at buying TEAR if this drops to the $3 range. Here are my only concerns about buying TEAR.

    1) have they mentioned when they expect their 1st breakeven quarter (even an estimated time?)
    2) do they have another round of dilution in the works?
    3) Is management even open to a sale to one of the majors? It seems like one of the majors would have a quicker time breaking the product to market.
    4) Outside of the CEO, no company insider is holding a large position of the stock. Makes you wonder if they will always have the shareholder in mind when making business decisions. At least the CEO does have a few million worth of TEAR.

Go ahead and ease my concerns if you can and I'll jump on board soon.

Try not to guess a bottom again. Down another 15% from this recent post. I think we are heading to the $3-4 range before stabilizing at those levels. There is definitely potential, but the shares got out of whack in the $13-$15 range with a 1/2 billion dollar market cap and constant dilution. Probably worth the risk soon as the shares continue to drop. If this falls below $5 you have margin calls to add more selling pressure.

  • I honestly think the bottom is coming soon but it will be around the $3 to $4 range. The company is still bleeding money with no near term end in site. I'm not sure how many quarters before a next wave of dilution too. If they can near breakeven cash flow, I'd would think about purchasing the shares. I'll keep an eye on the next few quarters and make my decision at that time. If it hits $3, I'll probably just take the chance and pickup the shares.

All the hype is out of the stock which is good for the long term health of the shares. Hopefully after this wave of selling is over the shares will stabilize, but realistically another 20-30% haircut is likely.
