It does appear RSO is corning the corner.
IOM is better to dollar cost average into RSO, rather than buying $ 250K in one lump.
I've owned RSO on and off since 2010, and have been buying a little over time.
I'm now back up to 8K shares and am fully invested percentage wise.

Gold went to $35 an oz and pretty much stayed there til 1971 when it became legal to own gold again.
The effect in 1933 was a devaluation of the dollar.
S&P 500 Index is not one stock.
My index funds have done better than my individual stocks, proving that I am not a good stock picker.
One never knows, but the market always reverts to the mean.
Buffet has stated that a good index fund is the way to go for most investors.
Dollar cost averaging has worked well over a long time horizon.
