He forgot to mention the ominous threat to GM and Ford that you can 3D print out a car. He's probably shorting those and keeping it secret.
Unfortunately, the concept of "Justice" has become warped beyond recognition in our country today. Proper justice would put Lois Lerner in a federal penitentiary. It's not even a close call if you think about what she did, which was to wield extreme and brute force governmental power to attack and punish political enemies of the party in power. How much more corrupt do you have to be before you you reach the definition of Tyranny? Clearly there are few limits under the current power structure.
If Hillary wins, IMHO it's final proof that our government has become something that is bought and paid for. She is expected to have a war chest of $2.5B to steamroll her way to the most powerful position in the world. She is a dishonest person with little political skill who has turned everything she has touched around the world into a smoking crater. There ain't enough "Reset" buttons in existence to fix all the disasters around the world that have her fingerprints. She is dishonest and dangerous, and the fact that she is even in the discussion is a strong indication that we have reached critical mass as far as having a government that is not only corrupt but several times bigger than it should be.
BTW, I know she's trying to pretend and connect with "the people" by going to Chipotle, but does it mean anything that she is spending money she never earned at a place where you don't have to tip?
It's a poorly kept secret that Biden's Secret Service codename is "Assassination Insurance". It's likely the shrewdest move Obama has ever made.
Some differences with Prohibition of course. For one, at the time there was a certain amount of support across the nation due to the "Temperance" movement and the general feeling at the time. Secondly, to my knowledge, there was not any favorable arguments for alcohol beyond "Freedom" and historical tradition. With guns, there is a very real justification beyond "Freedom", which many on this board not only understand, but would be willing to defend and fight for come Hell or high water. The same idea Leonidas so eloquently relayed to the Persians when they told him to lay down his arms, and he replied, "Our arms are here, Come and get them." Any radical attempt by Obama would be met with insurmountable opposition, from politicians and public alike. As stated earlier, anything like that would require the military to shut down manufacturers and confiscate weapons, and IMHO the military would draw the line, and he would not be able to get their assistance. Therefore any shutting down of the industry seems very unlikely. If it did happen, then you could probably say that our glorious experiment as a nation would be officially over.
The attempt would be great for the stock price though.
IMHO it has a lot to do with the 26th amendment, which allows 18-20 year olds to vote, and should be repealed. This amendment enables slick political machines to psychologically dissect that group and effectively appeal to their fact starved and emotionally driven decisions. This coupled with their woeful lack of Life Experience makes them putty in the hands of massively funded organizations, like the Dem Machine. Although it's true that there are some 18 year olds that are quite informed and intelligent, the vast majority shouldn't be allowed within 300 yards of a voting booth. If you don't believe me, talk to a few at random.
As far as what Obama is likely to do with his remaining time in office, I wouldn't put it past him to try something more radical on the gun issue, even if the political calculus tells him it's a loser. He has demonstrated this kind of miscalculation regularly, and also seems to be in a "slash-and-burn" phase of his presidency. He doesn't have time to diddle around the edges with magazine bans, etc. If he does, then SWHC stockholders could benefit substantially.
Also, he would need the military to carry out any sort of major ban, and I don't believe the military would give him the support needed. If he ever tried something like that, it could be his Waterloo, so bring it on.
That would be an extremely strong buy signal for SWHC. Best case would be an immediate drop somewhere below $8, followed by a run to $20 or more. Just speculation of course.
As you and everyone else knows, I was responding to YOU mr_numb. My only comment to others who respond to your drivel is that they are not only encouraging dim-witted activity, but are also jamming the board with non-useful information, which could lead to them eventually getting ignored also. That would be a shame if they had something useful to say about the company in the future. My recommendation is that everyone ignore trolls and spammers, and above all don't respond to their childish taunting, as that's what they live on. I know, sick.
You are clearly a troll who gets off on baiting those of us looking for meaningful information on our investments. Not sure if it's a personality disorder, or something more basic like simply being a cretin. But in any case, we are lucky that Yahoo provides at least some means for the normal people to deal with garden variety miscreants:
1. go to the right of your name, on "Flag" click "Report Abuse"
2. go to the right of your name, on "Flag" click "Ignore"
Thanks for making your behavior so easily identifiable!
I would never walk into a Costco expecting it to carry cookie sheets, and would question the intelligence of anyone who did. It's not a Walmart, and anyone who had spent more than 5 minutes in a Costco would know that.
