A good example of this was crude oil back in 2008 when it was $150. Everyone was then predicting $200 oil. In just a matter of months, oil sold off and bottomed at just under $34.
"I'm no fool"
What about the rumor that a lot of the gold bars being held by the government are fake.
Between the 465 high and the 385 low. This may be a good entry point to go long for a trade.
Money is flowing from AAPL to GOOG, NFLX & YHOO
One trader said to look for a low of 435.
A lot of stop loss orders were activated at 450.
iPhone 5S will be out in Sept, instead of June.
This is what I thought when I first saw the commercial for the Lincoln. It was about 2 guys getting ready to go and play golf. I was under the impression that he was still doing ads for Buick. I don't think it was by chance that the driver of the Lincoln in the commercial bears a close resemblance to Tiger Woods.
When Jon Najarian commented at 1:00PM on CNBC about the Sep 20 calls, the daily volume was around 7,000. Also, the volume for the Sep 16 puts was 2.
By 1:30PM, the volume was over 12,000 for the Sep 20 calls and 5,002 for the Sep 16 puts.
Did the same buyer buy 5,000 of the Sep 20 calls and finance the purchase by selling short 5,000 of the Sep 16 puts?

Will comment on AAPL
this morning near the low. I have been waiting for at least a little dip in price to get in. Will add to my position on a further decline. I like BX as a play on real estate.
Has anyone been following AVIV? There is no Yahoo message board for this real estate REIT. I have been waiting for a week to find a good entry point but it just continues to rise every day.
More news coming?
There is usually a price increase just before the Ex-Dividend date.
I am currently holding the May 10, 430/445 call spreads which I plan to close out soon. In the past, I have had to pay the dividends on some stocks such as GE for failing to cover my short ITM calls in a timely manner. With AAPL, your loss could be substantial with the larger dividends.
If you have a limit of 5k, then trade only the mini options. Each option controls just 10 shares and cost 1/10 the amount of a regular option. With the mini options, you can afford to buy deeper ITM calls thus reducing your cost for time premium. The mini options will also permit you to to scale in and out a position using multiple options.
Do your options expire 5/3 or 5/10?
If 5/3, then you will not have much time to try and play the market. If your trailing stop is activated to trigger the sale of the options, then it will end up being a market order. With the volume being so low at this strike, you will end up with a bad fill. It might be better if you just put in a sell order with a limit price. Then you could call your broker after the market opens to make any necessary adjustments.
A better way, if they expire 5/3, would be to just roll them out to the 5/10 options. This would allow you to continue playing AIG. Your cost for rolling would be the cheapest if done as a spread.
This is something I could never understand.
Cuba has never attacked or threatened the United States. No Cuban has never committed a terrorist act in the United States. Yet the United States refuses to have any trade relations with Cuba. The funny thing is the United States even has a military base in Cuba. Imagine if things were reversed and Cuba had a military base in Florida. It is the people of Cuba who are suffering as a result of this embargo.
Introduced to Congress by Rep. Joe Serrano (D-NY)
