I actually have an investment in polymet but i don't have 30 minutes to spare to read this gobbledygook much less spend an entire weekend doing it.
The irony of this whole thing is the very same people who are radical protesters on this matter are also from the same mold as the beurocrats whose job it is to approve the whole thing. How else can you explain coming up with the need for always more study and putting more people to work idly for the government. Someones not happy with only 3000 pages of paperwork, lets go for 5000. Who else but a bunch of liberals can sit around and decide we need to appease the radicals by having another public comment period. And by the way isnt it about time for another open house and tours pretty soon.
You guessed it, pushed into mid 2016 and what fun, another public comment period being set up for november of this year, which of course theyll then have to adress one by one. This investment is ok for a young person to sock away and keep his day job but if your at or near retirement you are at risk of some pretty dead money, even though i will still hold out hope my investment is not dead money.
A lot of the float was offered at .66 in the offering two years ago. Theres bound to be sone weaker hands causing bouts of profit taking on the way up. Less volume today on mild selling
Wrong wrong wrong. I am not bragging about this sad fact but i have lived here all my 50+ years and the only game plan around here for mining downturns and layoffs is extensions on extension of unemployment benefits, more food stamps, more welfare, heating assistance, mortgage assistance, and of course time to send everyone back to school on government assistance. I know your not from around here because of your logical solution to what might be needed to get the areas economy moving ahead. Your thinking like the rest of the country
All local liberals in mn feel they can comfortably talk a pro mining stance to get elected because they know the project is going to be delayed higher up and they are not on the hook for opposing.
There is an old saying i found to be true a lot which is The market is usually trying to tell you something but the little guy does not want to listen. I am not predicting this will be proven out here or not an am still long with a 1.70 cost basis. I am starting to think it is not rejected outright but maybe they are coming up with another one of these go back and fix something deals.
Governor being subject to a pro mining campaign as he opens the fishing season in the heart of polymet country at lake vermillion. Towns and roadsides saturated with pro mining signs to remind him of what makes this area tick.
