Don't really matter what they report. They can report exactly results projected; too little, too late! Sorry about your luck. 3-4% just don't cut it. Sorry about your pension. Should have picked a better company to work for. Sometimes things aren't what they appear. A fully funded pension "isn't" if you had to borrow a half billion to fund it.
Sounds like someone is afraid the schoolyard bully is after his lunch money. Must be a terrible thing to live in fear. Old quote ""It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees."
Sorry, but still pumped, just finished the course this weekend for getting my certification from one of the country's best self defense firearm and evasive driving courses. One of the terms that kept coming up was "Sheeple"; and couldn't help your ID flashing in front of my eyes.
"CNBC had a guest saying good things about JCP recently I was told"
Hearsay evidence at best, "a guy I know said good things about JCP" Really???? one whole guy? not even one guy talking to another guy. Gotta go now, got to get that information to 'Whispers". That's almost "Insider" information. "The guy" wouldn't happen to be a "Big/Smart" money investor would he?
I've heard of reaching, but that smacks of sheer desperation for a baggie.
Until you blabbed, the competition wasn't aware of those holidays.
I'd like to draw your attention to the chart on the right as proof.
"slovenly behemoths" and "foul-smelling blue hairs" are just terms of endearment
He is from the south; jus sayin
"sell high that all little GRASS".................Can you restate that in English?
According to the Google translator, he's trying to tell you he's brain damaged and got that way smoking too much GRASS
Generally hate to put people on ignore as it sometimes seems to disrupt the flow, but I just couldn't take any more of danzey, pickleturd, albacore, and jones.
"No country has ever spent itself into prosperity"
And a special addendum for JCPenney bagholders.
A company cannot borrow it's way out of debt.
But, that's not written in stone. It really depends on how long it takes to put the right "spin" on the numbers and let the "Lipstick on the pig" time enough to dry.
or was that a GTB or a GHB.................... sigh................. he gets me so confused. But right now would be a perfect buy point. We're approaching the max on the "Flying Crotch" indicator. If you take a two by four and connect the low of the lows and the high of the highs you've got the perfect stackable straddle.

I did say, "Now", Chiefy..
Would you like to recap how shld M, TGT, and LE did Vs. JCP? Guessing you won't.
"You just insulted longs"
He got so excited when he saw the "Penny", he wet himself and forgot for a moment he was supposed to be pumping.
You've missed the point. Market wasn't actually interested in anything factual. He was doing his usual looking for a "GOTCHA" moment, and as with his last numerous attempts, just didn't think it through.

Lets go 'cherry picking'...A 2 part test.
First part...What CEO took over JCP in 2004, and what was the PPS 12/31/2003?
Second part, in 2007 when JCP hit 84.00 a share? Who was the CEO then?
Looks like they have brought him back to 'play it again, Sam', or is it, play it again Myron?
You're a very confusing poster - - - - - - What does the price of the stock on 2/31/03 have to do with Myron - - - - he didn't take over until a year later - - - - - - at which time, by the way the stock was around 40 bucks - - - - - - which is ironically almost to the penny the same price it was when he left the company and RJ took over - - - please visit your historical prices for verification - - - - so even though there was a spike in stock prices in the interim he couldn't maintain it, in effect - - - - - - he accomplished very little PPS wise while he was there.
He did waste a ton of money on high priced stock buybacks and tried to depend on share price manipulation through such buybacks and "RIFS" etc. instead of concentrating on actual retailing - - - - - - He's also the one responsible for the "Big Book" and "Catalog Center" demise which cost the company money and customers.
Bottom line, if it's your contention that the companies future depends on him "Playing it again, Sam", you can only hope he doesn't.
Wanna try that again. Made even less sense than your normal garbage.
Did that GTB order of yours fill while the stock took a dive, or was that just BS pretending to be a "weal inwestir"
