    Closed everything in Oct, 2014, OR bulk of your position is from prior to 18 months ago?

    You know, lying is a pathological condition.
    //////////////////////////

    Yes you've amply demonstrated lying is a pathological condition. Knew you had trouble with the language so spelled it out in another post just a few minutes ago.

    Kind of strange how I would have know 3 years ago some idiot GURU was going to jump on the board and created posts just for him....

  • Posted she's in at 24.52..........check
    Posted bought back between 10.10 and 9.70.............. check
    Had to pay dividends one time .............. check
    Looking out three years = forward looking..........check(baggies were looking in the rear view mirror wanting 80 PPS back) that was about the same time the Piper Pump was for 50.00............... whoa Nelly, I called 10 bucks and Piper calledd 50 bucks............ Wowzers !!!!

    GURU establishes himself as the board Idiot..........check

    All that BS about hanging on to the short from 20+ for tax reasons is hilarious.

    We got rid of "tngenchek." Fraudster Banished from JCP Board.

    Evidence for his conviction (LMAOROTF):

    "....As you know I closed my short position some time ago, and now sold my Feb puts(doubling the money was just too good to pass up). Don't know what I'll do next. Won't go short at this level this close to the 4Q. Probably no more puts, maybe a straddle over earnings???

    tngenchek: just 9 hours ago!!!!
    "...Actually the bulk of my money on my main position(posted on the board for ALL to see) WAS made prior to the last 18 month period. HOWEVER real people with REAL money in the market have to take TAXES into account and the position couldn't be closed without large tax consequences. So even tho the money was technically dead for those 18 months, I SAVED taxes in the difference between short and long term capital gains

    Your credibility is 100% shot. Just get out of the board.

    I've heard of getting "out of a window", "out of a box", etc. but exactly how does one get "Out of a board", perhaps Mr. Wordsmithy meant get "off" the board................................

    Laugh my azzoffrollingon thefloor.

    Really???? Translated that means you are rolling on the floor in your ownsiht. Come to think of it, that may be the most accurate thing you've recently posted.

    It's really "LMFAOAY".......... see what happens when you concentrate sooooo hard on a "Gotcha" moment. You make a complete fool of yourself.......well, in your case it would just you being you.

  • tngenchek tngenchek Jul 15, 2015 9:56 PM Flag

    Fact check.........................I closed my short position in Sept(?) after holding it for two years(?? appx when RJ came on board) and the bulk of the money was made in the period PRIOR to the latest 18th month period.

    You see the stock was around 24-25 bucks when RJ took over in 2012 and then crashed to current level about the time your sorryazz jumped on this board(18 months ago, late Sept 2013). Soooooooooooooo MORON, most of the profit was MADE in that time frame but didn't close it until a year later(?) to take advantage of long term capital tax gains. Pull up a chart(if you know how) and you'll see my position has squared with actual facts and figures for the last 3 years.

    Why do I feel like I'm explaining something to someone that licks "bug zappers" for a hobby???

    12/31/15 stock price prediction for JCP

    Got that recommend at a 9.10 and sell at 11.83 for a cool 2.73 profit. I'm actually going to buy 100 shares tomorrow just so I can say "I owned the stock in that time period" and it was solely on a recommend on the Yahoo JCPenney board. Not only that, I'm going to vouch for your accuracy and suggest everyone do the same.

    I'm beginning to think that all the ID's that post on this message board are probably a very small number of people
    ////////////////////////////////////////

    You are correct but if you'd like to know how many of them are me, count the number on 1-29-2016 and the number on 2-1-2016. I'll not be here and the difference will be 1.

    "Sounds like a simple request to me"

    So simple, but you'll duck. Surprise, surprise.
    //////////////////////////////////

    No ducking here quack boy. I'll be gone anyhow and my only decision between now and then is when to close my last and only two positions. You see, I've got an appointment with relevancy I just can't miss, otherwise I'd just have a life on this board. You on the other hand may continuing to exchange stories and games with JR and GURU or whomever will listen to you.

    Wow, not only are you not an investor, you're not a very good detective either. What part of "Don't know what I'll do next" implied to you I wouldn't do anything??

    Geez, you never give up do you. Yes I covered that short position at somewhere around 10 and change from 24. Posted it many many times. You see when you have a position that long it becomes long term capital gains(as I've often posted) as opposed to higher taxed short term capital gains.

    What are you going to discover next? Earth is not flat, water is wet, fire is hot????

    Now what poster*** wouldn't want to "Go on record" even if for nothing else than "Braggin rites" ?????

    It's real easy........ all you have to do is type a number then a decimal point and then two more numbers.................. unless you don't think there'll be any numbers to the left of the decimal point in December, then you can just post "decimal point and your choice of two numbers"

    ***Of course anyone that would be in trouble with the SEC if any records of predictions up/down would be subpoenaed in any shareholder Class action suit, would be exempt and not expected to reply with a direct answer.

    ///////////////////////////

    There ya go Yahoo, maybe you should hire some IT talent.

  • Way to go Yahoo..... won't let me post as a "reply" we'll try as a new "f"ing topic
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Iimringo383 ............those people can not post on this message board for the entire year 2016
    //////////////////////////////////////

    I'll take a powder on this silly game.............. no point for me as my last day on this or any Yahoo board is 1-29/31-2016.

    However Market is the Go To Guy when it comes to playing games on these boards. Let's ask him shall we.

    Paging Market, Paging Market, Paging Market..............Poster is requesting "predictions for the closing price for JCP on 12/31/15". Sounds like a simple request to me.

    EVERYTHING JCPenney used to own is in hock to GS.... even the inventory has a double lien on it(never heard of such a thing before this).

    Of course they're going to build those distribution centers(with ALL that CapEx money) for their new omni-channeling forte............... maybe they could toss those into the Macy's REIT

    Oh, it was a MILLION and now it's 400,000............... Now tell me exactly how that's being taken out of context. ........ Actually what it is............. is catching you in a lie by YOUR own postings....you posted it.....you own it..... now let's try the real STORY.

    You did a "slip n fall" and got a settlement check for 800 bucks..... saw the JCP "turnaround" story... bought a 100 shares..... picked out a cute lil investor man ID........sat back waiting to be the next Soros.

    Clarification to tngen:
    - good news is, only ~ 10% of my JCP profit is in my margin account, taxes due this year.
    - better news is, rest of the profit (i.e. ~90%) is in my various IRA account
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    - a guy making say $100k profit in trades and paid taxes as ordinary income
