I only offered a friendly correction to the CEO's name...no thumbs down. I will say, however, there are thousands of reasons a CEO may sell shares. Many of those are not indicative of a bearish view. So, it's not relevant in my view.
That dude started shorting in the $40's, and through the $80's, if I remember correctly. "Hackensuck" is how I referred to him, I think. Memories. 😆
Sounds like a big slow-down is coming! 😎
Specifically, regarding the Nasdaq 100, he said "this is where you want to be". With SWKS, we are. Off to the races!! I've waited long enough!!
I've been called worse! Besides, as long as my decision to sell isn't the bottom indicator, I'm not worried. And, I'm not selling either! LOL
I guess so, DS. Although, if you knew the number of shares I own, you might not feel like the "lone" bull. 😎. Btw, I also loaded the boat last week between $86-$88.
I'm beginning to come around to your thinking about the near term pps action, cheetah. This new development with the yuan devaluation is adding fuel to the China slow-down story. And, it seems universally accepted that SWKS' sales are 83% to China...even if those sales are not to the end user in China. None of that bodes for a pps rise right now. I'm not selling, but I am hunkered down and ready to ride out the storm. In the absence of a surprise positive catalyst, it looks like more pain before gain. I will say again, the money is made during times of uncertainty.
Aug Sep are not bad months for stocks of high-growth companies when the stock has recently dropped 25%. Btw, you are definitely drinking the stocksgirrl koolaid, my friend. You might miss the boat for being on the bandwagon, cheetah. 😀
Who's been saying that all year, DS? 😀. Way too much risk of disinflation with a rate increase..especially with China's currency move.
Apple WILL grow iphone sales in 2016 by a minimum of 15%...probably closer to 25%. The year-over-year increase in the iPhone users eligible for upgrades insures the growth. Not to mention, there are a significant number of Android users switching to iPhones. It doesn't take a genius to understand, the market dynamics for the iPhone.
You make too much sense for a technician to understand, tllm. She's too busy drawing lines on a chart to have time to use her own advice to short SWKS. Besides, she's only here to help us idiots understand the market. Her wisdom surpasseth all understanding, after all.
