Was hoping to buy more under $51, but vacation last week caused me to miss the chance last week. So, today I added more at $51.97. I am a long term investor, and believe the pps can be $62+ by the end of the year.
Let's see how the stock responds to this token (predictable) downgrade. Everyone wants shares of this high-growth as cheaply as possible, so a downgrade comes out. I am looking to buy more at $51 which would be about 6.5% below the current 52-week high.
Yep. SWKS is NOT a short. Some profit-taking will, likely happen. But,,that does not make this a good short. Far from it. drifter has it wrong.
We will see. I am a patient buyer with SWKS. Of course, it could be my buy price of under $50.25 won't present itself. If not, I will re-evaluate, and set a new buy point. As a LONG with a significant investment, I am very happy with the higher highs we are seeing.
That would make sense after the 14% move Friday. I will be looking closely at adding shares starting under $50.25, and definitely in the $49.90's.
It cracks me up how anyone can just "expect" a move of more than 10% for ANY stock after earnings..."easy" at that. Maybe it will happen. No one would be happier than me. But, get real! An easy 10% up move?!?! Oh brother!! I am long...very. I am hoping to see a sustainable move to over $49...a 2.5% - 3% move up. This stock has come a long way in 2014...up more than 65%. Let's be real about where it can go after earnings today and this week.
These kinds of predictions make for giddy emotions. But, almost never does a prediction like this come true. I am a LONG. But, please reel in your expectations. As fun as it is to think about a move to $55, reality says that is highly unlikely in the short term. Maybe by year-end, though. Good luck.
Uhhhh...have you seen the percent of the float that is short? Virtually everyone agrees with you, so what's your point? Without shorts there can be no explosive moves up...which is fine because a slow and steady grind higher suits me ok.
MU did this at $24 repeatedly. Finally, it broke through $24, and went over $34. Just an example of what you described could happen with INVN.
Dude, you are no better than he is with a random baseless prediction like that. I hope you are right. But, IMO, a pullback (assuming no news), is way more likely today.
