Of course, the realists here have lost reality. They keep adding on the way down only to
realize the next day they have lost more. Celgene a highly volatile stock. Remember never fall in love with any stock.
I happen to agree with you. Celgene is a great company, the stock is something else entirely. Just a few weeks ago we were at $128 and yesterday we touched $112. That is a mighty swing. And yes, it is brutal! I would go so far as to say this stock has chased away many serious investors who just do not want this
unpredictable predictability. Why? I think, Celgene has become a haven for short term day traders both hedge fund and retail. Every little innuendo of something positive or negative that may or may not happen and this stock reacts violently. Longer term this stock will be up but to get there you better stock up on gravol for motion sickness. If you are an investor who likes slow and steady in an upward direction, this is not a stock to invest in.
Good company but terrible stock. It just is never able to hold on to its gains. What is really hilarious is reading how some posters on this board keep cheering for the stock to go down so they can buy more. Cost averaging up not down is the way to go. Hilarious!
This is not insider trading. There are always news coming from companies; furthermore, the specifics of the news were not mentioned. It is called an opinion. Get a life!
Celgene is a news driven stock. It does not respond to logic, it goes with the flavour of the day, which is the presence or lack of news to drive the stock forward. It is a terrific stock to own, but you must disregard the day to day price fluctuations because the stock price never is or will remain constant for very long in the short term.
Of course it will but this stock is highly volatile. It is not for the faint of heart who like a linear straight line
progression. Just stock up on Gravol pills for motion sickness and enjoy the ride.
Celgene is a good company but not so good a stock because it is extremely volatile. It is always three steps forward followed by two steps backward. This is not a company you own for day to day appreciation because you need gravol for motion sickness. You buy and hold because over the long term it will be up.
I'm staying put as this is a long term hold. Having said that I believe the stock is down in anticipation of
