    with the whole "overbought" theory.

Investors by my definition have been in a stock for 3-10 years.

Look at a 10 year chart to see what we've already experienced.

    1. There's been 3 notable cup and handle patterns.

    2. When the first two of these three c&h patterns peaked the RSI peaked SHARPLY as well.

    3. The current breakout which began when the price went over 39.24 which was the peak of the left hand side of the current c&h pattern (04/2006) stalled during Q4 of 2013 and Q1 of 2015 on softer than expected earnings and estimates. The breakout stalled with a rounded top on the RSI barely going over 76, but didn't fail longterm, as should have been obvious by the overall fundamentals, and has now resumed on great fundamental news - the three STRATEGIC acquisitions.

    4. The current RSI based on the same 10 year chart is at 78.

So to sum up. It aint overbought.

  • STMP - 'bout 16M shares outstanding, so about an additional 3.60 or so in revenue per share.
If Endicia's margins are anywhere close to STMP's that should equate to about $1 per share Net Income x a forward PE of 20 means a $20 share price increase would be in order when the deal is completed near the end of 2015, I think I hang out and see out it plays out...shorts welcome to tag along.

...the problem is...it's not so much about who STMP buys next (they're pretty good cherry pickers though don't ya think?), as it is about who's willing to eat the NOLs to buy STMP before the price gets too ginormous.

Just a little doughnut to chew on with your morning coffee chuckleheads...

Should we sit politely and have some tea?

Or should we turn the Bulls loose and make a dusty trail of all that pottery?

Nice quarter, nice year. Thank you Stampers - now including Shippers and Workers as well - Rah!

Gonna need some new pompoms and maybe give the cheerleader outfit a good dry cleaning. Got a feeling fig and the boys may make a reappearance trying to recapture the "glory days of the chucklehead brigade."

Do what ya gotta do fig - but the snowball we've been pushing up the hill - you know the one fig, you've been riding it now for a decade and a half...well it's teetering at the top now - if you want to keep riding it that's up to you fig - but from what I've seen the trip down is a lot more robust than the ride up.

This is what a ten year classic cup and handle pattern looks like, because that is exactly what it is. The time frame has gotten a lot longer, not all that suitable to the short side, but if you are truly an investor - well all I can say is "All Aboard - Chuga Chuga Chuga Chuga - Chooooo Choooo - Chuga Chuga Chuga Chuga..."

Volatile - yup - rock solid fundamentally - no doubt.. No debt, growth company, AND it's already a cash cow.

    Let the games begin.

    Question for the Chartists

Hindsight is 20/20 for everyone. Foresight, on the other hand, is quite rare. Seems we were both right that day Mr. Peanut. My "breakout" from the previous cup and handle pattern peaked the day of the post with a high of 33.73. That high formed the top of the right side of the cup you were referring to, with the handle of the pattern forming over the next several months, with a low of 18.62.

So, Mr. P what's your read these days - assuming you're not retired and sitting on a white sand beach somewhere?
