I thought you'd be in a better mood chucklehead...don't you clowns thrive on this global chaos?

Cheer up - it won't be long and STMP will post another blow out quarter and you'll have something to take your mind off whatever is bothering you...

So will STMP end up being a market out performer in this latest "take-your-one-world-order-and-shove-it" vote by the Brits?

STMP was a decent place to be during the '08 mortgage backed securities debacle. It's in a space that's 99.99% US economy based - as well as being in the sweet spot of that economy - internet commerce - thank goodness the Brits didn't vote to have the internet removed from the UK...never know after a few beers...

Never was much of a fan of this whole one-world-fluster-cluck idea anyway - diversity is good. Borders are ok as long as they don't use walls - walls suck - ask the Germans who had to live behind one for decades.

I see a whole lot of cheap money on the immediate horizon - I've got two empty hands to fill - guess how I'm gonna spend it...go ahead...betcha can't guess...

Sorry, ... completely forgot to thank you for the promotion. Kinda a big jump in rank though doncha think? From Buck Private Sheeple all the way up to Licker-In-Chief - not really sure I'm prepared for that much responsibility, but if The Donald can do it I spose I can too...

per the Austin Business Journal: Sep 13, 2013. [In article "Austin startups rush to fill orders"] "Two years after launching, a local company that developed shipping software is poised to reach an impressive milestone.

ShipStation, which was launched in October 2011 by Austin-based Auctane LLC, is on track to reach $2 billion in the value of orders processed using its online shipping tool. The company declined to disclose its own finances, but the figure demonstrates the size of the market and validates the business models of local startups capitalizing on the need for such tools.

One of the latest is ShippingEasy Inc., which was founded in Australia but relocated to Austin in September 2012. The company now employs 15 workers, CEO Katie May said.

In April, ShippingEasy launched a second version of its software. The company has doubled nearly all its metrics since and adds hundreds of customers each month, she said."

And Now: Jun 20, 2016 in the article "Austin's ShippingEasy to be acquired for $55M" the Austin Business Journal states: "ShippingEasy was founded in 2011 in Australia but relocated to Austin in September 2012. The company develops web-based shipping software designed to enable users to fulfill and ship orders. It employs 54 workers, CEO Katie May said."

Nice. Less than 3 years and the head count went from 15 to 54...

Welcome ShippingEasy - it's simple - one rule - kick butt...and since it doesn't look like this is your first rodeo...I'll see ya at the payout window.

Trying to explain that sell-off in terms of anything fundamental is quite frankly - ridiculous. Fundamentals change rather slowly (or maybe not quite so slowly for STMP) over time. The last part of this price pounding came after hours/premarket on 4/27-4/28 on the heels of some Baloney Sandwich story out of Sucking Alpo and a gap down in price of about 13.5% (93.17 to 80.83) on no REAL news. Totally orchestrated - to imply otherwise is just more Baloney Sandwiches.

Let's call it what it is. A few big players with their nippies in a wringer...and they're rather permanently flat nippies now because they've been in that same wringer for quite some time...when you've got billions and can lose millions you can leave your nippies in a wringer for a long time...but not forever - that's too long.

I think we're getting close to too long - but what the hell do I know...

The days are long (and so am I - oh yea!) - so it's real work time again...

Sheeple this whole "make believe sell-off" is just that - if the players who have been supplying the shares for this don't want their shares back before the next ER - then they're just not too bright... They were probably hoping to pick up a few extra cheap shares in the process of helping their billionaire trading partners (ie. other chuckleheads) to get covered. Something this contrived only points to one thing - GUT HOOKED WHALES.

Speaking of which the "chucklehead numbers" are published today - only 12 days stale. Do ya spose the same regulators who dropped the uptick rule also are in charge of disseminating short numbers? Could they do it any slower - without looking totally bought and paid for?

    Nope.

The analogy is good. Your interpretation is poor.

The analogy is simple. It regards FEAR and GREED - both in the market as well as in other stressful situations. I compared it to Ivar Ruud hunting polar bear - back when there was actually sea ice...

The ENTIRE POINT of the analogy was simply that FEAR kicks in for humans WAY BEFORE GREED under stressful circumstances.

The lack of an uptick rule allows two or more big shorts to walk the price down creating fear among Longs - especially individual Sheeple - (as we're not in the burner-cell-phone-loop, so we don't know when it's coming, how deep the price drop will be, or when it will end...sheesh, I gotta get in that loop - who do I pay off?)

So a couple of chuckleheads (they call em "trading partners" on wall street...) can walk the price down with successive short sales to each other for a penny/dollar less each time because the UPTICK RULE WAS ABOLISHED. The trades wash each other out with the trading partners taking turns shorting and covering the same shares as they walk the price down with just trading costs to contend with, but which are made up for with the paper gains on previously shorted shares.

The lack of the uptick rule allows FEAR to be used by the shorts much more effectively, and since FEAR ALWAYS KICKS IN BEFORE GREED (ask Ivar Ruud if you don't believe me...) this gives the chuckleheads a distinct and unfair advantage in the market - especially when it comes to herding Sheeple (fear based individuals) to the slaughter.

My message is simple - GET ANGRY not fearful. Helps to avoid panic selling when the shorts/bears attack.

You can try and complicate the analogy by misinterpreting it - but I think I've made it pretty clear. No uptick rules allows shorts to create fear and volatility which in turn helps herd the Sheeple to the slaughter.

I don't herd well...having worked at a slaughter house years ago, I'm in no hurry to go back as a client.
