so far , stock is behaving like I thought it would. up more, down little pattern. like I said before..POC testing is huge market for hospitals and clinics and home . wish it would pull back some so can pick up somemore
cant fight the ticker. good luck all
like I said awhile ago...be patient...nut allergy is a huge medical problem...whoever makes progress in this area is a HUGE market...not a stock or sector to go all in, but I see this all the time ..and it is real...any therapy option would be a huge thing ....so I placed a moderate stake in company...so far so good....potenital is HUGE.......(as I suppose the down side).... my stops are in below 10...I have no target price as this could really go ballistic ....good luck all. (every seen a real peanut allergic reaction? it can kill you...I work in the ER and see it on regular basis)....I think the science behind AIMT is sound ..right now there is NO therapy to prevent ......AIMT knows that.....high risk....high reward imo
I dont disagree the economies of scale continue to be an issue. However, hospitals and clinics et al, are all sheep. They wait, until they see what others are buying for the need for a particular medical widget, in this case a quick turnaround highly sensitive test for a number of illness states. Our hospital recently purchased several of their products. They are part of sheep with input from other and the science, utility of a test and is it becoming the standard of care to offer such ? So at some point by mass action, if they figure out how to get their production cost down, I think you will (be patient) another Quest Diagnositics, or LabCorp looking chart...
the POC (point of care) testing and home test market is large. OSUR has those products and docs and patients use . is the new normal ..OSUR has focused on the right tests docs and patients want and order or purchase. This is not a speculative play, hospital I work at uses it. next stop I think is above 8 ...lots of room to run if management is well run. I am not putting any stops in until double digits again
all the talk about competition...healthy in cap world. docs and patients do not change drugs that have been working easily. YEARS must go by for that to happen. ABBV also has a new combo drug for Hep C; what just a few years ago was considered not curable, likely to result in Hepatic Cancer and eventual death. Yes their Gilead has similar. My 2 cents. If anyone thinks this company is full of nothing, they are wrong. Humira and Hep C drug alone are saving and improving lives ... Ask any Hep C patient who is well informed...they now have a good chance to be CURED of a disease that usually lead to liver cancer and death.
