I think you need to re-read this! I have managed money for 30 years and traded options since 1982. What I was saying is they filled my buy order better than they should have. When I have a large position in the stock and I'm unsure of the near-term direction, I will throw out "bait" to see if they bite (referring to the MM'S). They should have never filled me at this price, this is typically a bad sign near term.

Calls make lots of sense if you buy deep in the money and pay little premium. I can buy the March 130 calls and pay .80 cent premium. 1000 shares would cost you a $157,000, 10 option contracts would cost $28,000 this results in 6x leverage with almost dollar for move in price!

I placed a buy order at 156 when the stock was trading at 158 (9:40 EST). Market Maker took the stock down filled my order at (9:55 A.M.) stock NEVER traded done to this price. Got down to a bid of 156.01 and I was filled on my buy at 156.

This typically does not bode well for a stock when this happens. Market Makers aren't nice guys! Be careful

  • Highest margin in absolute dollars ever! Individual investor completely leveraged with margin and options in 3D printing stocks, Fracking (Permian speculation), and Biotech/Pharma.

Market makers washing out speculators and extra crispy leverage folk.
