Any derm in any press release has been compensated by ZLTQ in one way shape or form... I am sure this is legal, but it is still slimy.
rather buy Google - trades for almost the same revenue multiple, actually has profits and a future, more than one product too and insiders that didn't sell all of their shares at $12
good luck to all longs
for a company with no profits that will burn more cash next year as they wait for people to come in for procedures while highlighting their desperate "five point plan" which says all the staff at our dermatology office should get CoolSculpting, yes...it is lackluster and fairly pathetic. Maybe that's why insiders have sold in size via no proceeds secondary offerings and while all M&A in the space has avoided this name. See you back at $7.50, which is what this thing is worth on any reasonable measure of value.
Lack of accretion would be the least of the buyer's concerns. Buying LOCK opens you up to a host of litigation and the forthcoming FTC inquiry that they allude to in their latest 10-K. This is setting up to be a terrific short. Unlike Herbalife(HLF) or NuSkin(NUS), the government intervention here is all but guaranteed, as prompted by a string of whistleblower lawsuits and disgruntled employees. A buyer would be insane to step into this proverbial pit of vipers for a business that unambiguously uses scare tactics to get $10.00 a month out of people with no real service behind it.
good luck to all longs. Also check the new disclosures in their 10-K
"Consumers can protect themselves from fraudulent activity for free. To keep tabs on existing accounts, ask credit-card issuers to alert you by phone about charges beyond a certain dollar amount. You also should review your deposit accounts daily to confirm that your debit cards aren't being fraudulently used."
they sold as much stock as they could at $12.00
my dermatologist has looked into this product and passed - cant justify the cost to his patients and says there is no long term study to show that destroying fat cells doesn't simply make them grow back larger
this is going back to $5.75
