I have always been someone that expands my personal pool of acquaintances. The process of having friends starts with an initial interaction with an individual. If that first contact leads to greater interaction, then a friendship potential exists. That aside, I am acquainted with someone who was involved on the day of the 9/11 tragedy, he being at the Pentagon. His perspective, the IRS bias of treating tax exempt groups will reveal gross wrong-doing. Expect to see this come true in 2014.
From yesterday's Wall Street Journal
The reason this furor will continue even if the website is fixed is that the public is learning that ObamaCare's insurance costs more in return for worse coverage.
Mr. Obama and his liberal allies call the old plans "substandard," but he doesn't mean from the perspective of the consumers who bought them. He means people were free to choose insurance that wasn't designed to serve his social equity and income redistribution goals. In his view, many people must pay first-class fares for coach seats so others can pay less and receive extra benefits.
A software company owner has told me how his health care premiums got 'affordable' (thanks to Obamacare).
The premiums for his employees doubled from $258 to over $500. The 'benefit' the deductible went down $1,000.
136 and you say that's not bad. Falling into a vat of molten steel isn't bad either then. I am certainly aware that people like you are out there. You voted for the President. So not bad, 4 dead at Bangahzi, not bad the NSA spying, not bad the IRS filters tax exempt corporations with political bias, not bad that the one in charge at the IRS takes the fifth and not bad this reported within the last 3 hours, "President Barack Obama, who has portrayed himself as surprised by technical problems with the government's new health care website, was briefed last spring on a detailed consultant's report that warned of system failure, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Tuesday." Ok, not bad, period.
Face it a large number, though declining, of Democrats still see the President as faultless. Phony scandals, fast & furious, Benghazi (what difference does it make?), social security boss takes the fifth, NSA and far too many Democrats see nothing wrong. alias_commander is one of them.
Obama’s fix does not actually guarantee that millions of people will be able to keep their plans. Insurance is regulated at the state level, and state officials can reject Obama’s request. Secondly, insurers themselves are not required to reoffer the out-of-date plans to consumers.
What our President is being seen as lately; untruthful, lacking business experience and detached. His signature piece of legislation, just days prior to the launch of the website, he had a golf game. How could there be time to check how well the website was doing when he needed to golf? Our President without any experience in business sought to sell ACA while on the campaign trail and undoubtedly never passed any state test that would allow him to sell insurance. I passed 2 different state tests. I've known all along this man would have done the country far more good going to Hollywood rather than DC.
I know what I mean. Take note of the price action from Oct 21, 2013 11:13 AM when I posted the subject heading.
fast & furious
Weak job market
Obamacare bait & switch
Solyndra-type failures, yes plural
And the typical excuse that he was out of the loop or we're working on it
