Obama unable to see the elephant in the room

You basically repeated the Obama tactic of asking questions, however. "How does "Islamic terrorist" language defeat these primitives? " Excuse me, primitives, no, they are radical Islamic terrorists. You continued with "to link all Muslims around the world to terrorism is just stupid." Someone does do that. But I think you hint that someone is Trump. You do know what happened to the Japanese during WWII, do you not? I think it overly cautious yet prudent to ban Muslims from entering our country temporarily. Nearly all of us are unaware that ISIS took control of a governmental building in Syria. One of the treasures they acquired, equipment to produce Syrian passports. Printing illegitimate passports that pass border scrutiny, quite the it's all good entry ticket to commit terror. The media has, to a near perfect degree, under-covered this detail.
My overall point, in times of war, innocent people, good people are the victims of unfair discrimination. But within every 100 that may seem innocent, I expect at least 2 or 3 within that 100, their mindset is set to commit some sort of atrocity. Ask yourself, when in war is there absolute PC correctness? Truth is Obama handles this global turmoil (which includes more than ISIS) in a very, very overly politically correct way. Too much talk, not enough action from a man who should be considered leader of the free world but certainly doesn't deserve to be thought of that way.

  • If someone breaks U.S. immigration law, don't call them an illegal alien, refer to them respectfully as an undocumented worker. That's a sham unto itself. Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez cut short the life of a beautiful woman in her prime. He was deported FIVE TIMES! Congressional indifference combined with sanctuary city liberalism by our governments (federal and local) leaving Kate's Law UNPASSED. The rampant PC momentum this country as experienced, it's actual weakening us all at our very core. There are far too many people coddling evil as a method to somehow bait evil with tender loving care, as if the evil-doers will be won over by such a feeble ploy. Gun control, Sanchez stole the gun from a governmental employee or purchased it from someone who did. Do-gooders, to a large degree, have little concept of how deeply evil resides in some of us. They are numb to the truth that evil finds ways around law. We are fast approaching an election that will result in more of the same or just maybe, we elect someone who truly can change things.

We, as a culture, have become less informed about how our government impacts our daily lives. Much of what government does besides, taking care of themselves (did you know insider trading was made illegal for congressmen, but then later, they are allowed, reversing the ban, to trade on insider info and they have their health care paid for by the taxpayer) WHILE also increasing governmental positions. The citizenry remains distracted to what truly shapes their lives. Ever wonder why the vast majority in Hollywood lean left? I don't.
They are a big part of team distraction. How about the tax code which contains more than 74,000 pages. Does any sane individual find that volume necessary? The busier they keep us and the more we are distracted, the more free reign big government assumes. Get it?

Obama unable to see the elephant in the room

Seriously, you're under Obama ether. This president the "most transparent" in history (a lie) allowing the Lerner IRS team off by pleading the fifth. The deceit to get the 'affordable' health care act passed, never presented as a tax but upheld by the Supreme Court as a tax; aforementioned deceit admitted by Gruber, 9/11 Part 2 Benghazi, Obama's specific whereabouts during that horrific event, what was he doing, non-disclosed, billions lost on green energy companies while gasoline/oil got exceptionally cheap, a massive national debt increase but you'll defend his use of language? Obama is incapable of running this country and you AND he are so out of touch, you both justifying let's not offend Muslims with our language. And BTW, Capone levered the fifth amendment and guess what Capone, of Italian descent, he was a murderer.

  • But for an incompetent president, don't expect answers and certainly not solutions.

  • Before I expand on the above, let's review the first lady, Feb. 2008. "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country..." I cut the sentence short since the because doesn't matter. Besides she virtually repeated it again later, “For the first time I am proud of my country.” Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol said,
“She was an adult when we won the Cold War without firing a shot. She was an adult for the last 25 years of economic progress, social progress...” As far as I'm concerned, this first lady is dead last on the list of first ladies (with second to last far out front).
Now to our president who has such a tough time with 3 words, radical Islamic terrorism. "What exactly would using this label accomplish? What exactly would it change?" Obama asked during remarks at the Treasury Department. "Would it make ISIL less committed to try and kill Americans?" he continued, using a different acronym for ISIS. "Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this? The answer is none of the above," he said. "Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away." Obama likes the 20 questions method evidently. Radical Islamic (they call it jihad) terrorism exists. Whether you call it any number of things doesn't diminish what it is. As for the evil doers can you imagine how pleased they are that this president wants to define evil as restrictively as he does. Michele (I know, she is unaware of this message) never in my life have I been more embarrassed by how a man in the oval office, supposed leader of the free world, how he devotes so much vigor to NOT offend those who are outright evil.

Stephen Hawking, without argument, a theoretical physicist, an IQ of 160 (a tad lower than Einstein and well below the 250+ of William James Sidis) relies heavily on theory, not proof. Does Hawking weigh in on Hillary's appeal? Perhaps, debt-addicted 'problem solvers' that see debt as the absolute solution for just about anything. The more things to solve, the more we increase the debt?

Clinton is the bigger liar regardless. Fiscal discipline, financial success are proven Trump traits. Bush added to the national debt. Obama created a mushroom cloud of debt after. A nuclear meltdown of devastating debt will follow with Hillary. Trump can run a business conglomerate successfully. Odds favor Trump over Clinton to reverse the over a decade old debt swell.

Will Trump, if elected, run the country in a fiscally responsible way? Only his election and with time passing will we know. The current president never had what many Americans would view to be a real job. Why should voters trust anyone that knows how to make a profit, a sustainable profit over years and years. Aren't politicians lucky that they voted themselves exempt from insider trading laws and that they voted their health care expense gets paid by taxpayers! And they are so smart selling bonds, boosting debt to nearly 20 trillion so they can spend more than they take in! I want to do that with my income and outgo too!

  • towncryer911 by towncryer911 May 23, 2016 8:06 AM Flag

Valerie Jarrett, yesterday on 60 Minutes declares success, multiple ones! Ended 2 wars, unemployment down from 10% to 5% and 20 million people with health care, many for the first time.
We should be elated that we're no longer at war. Peace is great! Glad too, that so many people are back at work! If only the average family income had gone up instead of down. Might be that too many had to accept lower paying jobs after their unemployment benefits ran out? And the ACA, it's so AFFORDABLE! Of course the people that don't want to buy health insurance, no one cares their right to NOT spend money there has been essentially denied. Ignore that Gruber character too and his assertion that the general public is stupid.
    Sure Valerie, it's all good.

Adding to my previous thoughts, I know we have a President that essentially never held a job outside of government. This elected official has boosted national debt with equanimity. IMHO, that's not wise. Just keep going deeper in debt, fund green energy; result being billions in bankruptcies while oil gets cheap, relatively speaking. Obama actually runs one of, if not the biggest business on the planet. But running it with huge fiscal losses is not what I'd call competency nor talent. I hope for change, a real change. No thanks Hillary, you're much too much of the same. Perhaps a candidate that has run business at a profit proves to be REAL change that benefits us all.

Right on both points. Speculative, for sure. Friday, Ray Dirks Access wire may be a bull but the man IMO makes little sense. 1% allocation is next to nothing. Maybe best to hold the cash, forget the lottery ticket.

Good Yahoo article on HTBX's $11 Billion market

    by dia76ca Apr 15, 2016 1:36 PM
    towncryer911 towncryer911 Apr 15, 2016 4:38 PM Flag

EZ there. Ok the article has merit. But the $11 billion market potential is over the top. Early stage in trials and FDA approval not near-term, the author is overly bullish. I'm not bashing. The risk/reward scenario for high risk tolerance investors is reasonable. Drug manufacturing costs also seem to have a competitive advantage here. For price stability one must be at least encouraged that the raising of cash increases book value. Maybe a deep stop loss and buying over the next couple months, avoiding going all in is the way to play this.

Trump's speech yesterday had a presidential tone. His shock non-PC tone previously was successful for Trump getting the lion's share of media coverage, for free. Funding his own campaign and rejecting the crazy PC momentum of late, for me, those are huge reasons to
understand his leading the GOP race. A presidential Democrat/Republican debate with Trump against whomever will be a must-see political event.
FYI ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Put HTBX on your watch list.
