You are right she could even get the water torture , they use hot and soup soup there you burn and choke on the pieces it makes normal drowning a dream.
intel lawyers will protect their patents . X86 without permission ,wow that's stealing ! Whatever these chips end up in if any are ever made might just be sold in China and most Chinese want decent stuff not fakes they only sell fakes. This is far away meanwhile this story will go quiet and amd will continue to downsize , shrink , evaporate , rot way etc.
AMD price will start going down this coming week and the shorts will climb aboard for the ride to basement. Those with a profit will see it fading away and push the sell buttons . The amdtards have no money so no buyers ouch its gonna hurt . Wear your seatbelts fools.
There is only one fact , amd lost 14 million dollars , so amd can't make it selling products . Now the Chinese will pay enough money to licence whatever and carry the whole co. to profit ? Ask the movie studios and they have a good product how much they make from the Chinese.
In 3 months you will know , another amd loss and no new news about we took in x amount of revenue the last 3 months . Time will go on and on and amd will go down like it was before this new story. Why would the Chinese want amd .. server chips they say ... hmmm well they already use x86 chips because of all the ERR free software available . By the way their laptops are mostly x86 and how much software to they buy ziltch nothing in fact msft was giving out free copies in the hope they would haha become honest buyers .
So now what they already have will become more expensive and they will love it ???? You guys are really good for a laugh. Big Ameican cos. buying servers from the Chinese maybe even Homeland and NsA you have reached a new zenith in stupidity.
Whats different at amd ? Just an announcement nothing else yet . Keep remembering that as time goes by and amd still loses money. No announcement when the management expects to get into the green . The only thing we can all agree on it better be sooner than later.
Enjoy your weekend you guys you don't deserve it but you got it !
With amd's record of success I am not worried at all about burying amd .
,here is nothing new coming out that is top notch according to product leaks , computer chips are going down as a business , no AMD in tablets, phones etc and NVidia is cracking the auto business as is Intel to gain new business and amd is doing what ? Just lie down and die AMD enough shame !
buy buy buy
When things fall apart like this its never an orderly retreat . It just makes more sense to pack it in as its hopeless and ATI is hopeless and the end result is clear to me lenders will be holding their dongs instead of 3 billion or more owed.
There is nothing going , just the steady burn of cash .AMD I think is too weak now to do anything but die . Computer chips sales are going down for the whole market . Remember when the story was amd was going to make ARMH chips .. its a joke competing against the Chinese and amd is just a dist . no factories , not even their own office building .
Debt payments of 40 million a quarter , rent of the office building one million a month , it was sold off . Salaries , bonuses , storage for old decaying chips , coffee etc.
Could it get worse ? No its there already.
Well the only news is there is going to be MAYBE something new out in July MAYBE ? Does that mean whatever it is has been put in products to sell for xmas ? No it means nothing at all and it will most likely be late or maybe a never product.
Getting back to today will the stock go down just before the earnings after it went up yesterday ?
WHY DO I KEEP CALLING IT EARNINGS ?
guess estimates gaap only on amd's numbers tomorrow . ok I will guess first ( .22 ) that is almost double the non gap estimate by the analysts. But I believe in amd and its ability to lose big.
Amd knows how to run a company without expenses , most probably that is why management gets paid the big bucks. ( their secret is reducing sales to cut expenses )
What analysts are expecting
The average analyst estimate calls for AMD's first-quarter revenue to decline by 20.6% year over year to $818.2 million. This estimate is in line with AMD's guidance for a sequential revenue decline of 14%, plus or minus 3%. The computing and graphics segment, which contains both CPUs and GPUs aimed at PCs, has been the biggest driver of AMD's recent revenue declines. But the enterprise, embedded, and semi-custom segment, which contains AMD's game console chip business, suffered a revenue decline as well during the fourth quarter, suggesting that AMD's game console revenue this cycle may have already peaked.
A non-GAAP loss of $0.13 per share is expected by analysts, down from a loss of $0.09 per share during the prior-year period. The semi-custom segment has been a source of profits for the company in recent years, but losses in the computing and graphics segment have overwhelmed those gains. AMD's debt load is also a factor, with quarterly interest payments of about $40 million knocking down profitability.
How about .... performance before and after * none ! runs quiet as a computer not plugged in . amd it will warm your heart and your home.
