Ok, doorsheim, obviously you know much more than I do... Hope you are right, but I still maintain Terwilliger is wealthy enough independently of HUSA holdings... And I also maintain that Boylan does not care.
I do not know, but I need 3 more cents and I am out at breakeven after almost 5 painful years...
Sentiment: Strong Sell
He has likely already written off those 10M shares... He received his golden parachute a long time ago, plus $$ from some claims in 2015.
Boylan does not care either - his involvement in HUSA is minimal, this is pocket change for him, despite the large official salary he receives...
All these almost daily "Strong Buy" headlines... APRI must have money for media bribes...
Yes, Jsch - they are meaningless. With all due respect (in spite of our frequent disagreements over the years on this board), the political wave changes very frequently in countries like Colombia. The Colombian government is a token government, a puppet played by interest groups (not limited to militias and drug cartels). Hupecol got screwed here. probably did not pay their "dues" to the right party (see above). Neither the first not the last corporation that loses.
Colombia's desire to be a "first world" country? Just like European countries that were forced, against their peoples' will into the European Union... Now you, Jsch, please give me a break... Colombia is very content with the status quo, it is a mechanism that functions (corruption or not, FARC, rotating powers at government, etc.). It does not need to please the superpowers and "upgrade"...
As stated before, I own quite a few shares at an average of $0.26-ish. More than 300k. I believe I will follow Lefty's strategy and consider myself happy to unload at 0.21 - 0.22. But I doubt HUSA will ever be even at 20 cents... Bankruptcy is closer than ever.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Jsch... Please do not forget that the words "lawsuit" and "litigation" have a totally different meaning in Colombia. Sue the government in Colombia??? A big fat zero chance... The international law textbooks do not apply,
Hupecol's operations in the area question are over, the permits were reversed. Certainly Hupecol has a lot more at stake that the mere share allocated to HUSA, but it is game over, in every regard.
Chenheyan - I totally agree. Not sure about Hupecol, but HUSA is done. Not sure if there is even hope ti frill (much less to find oil) somewhere else, but its "operations" in Colombia are history. Not that they ever started... Bankruptcy is even closer than ever.
"His annual salary is very low"... For a part-time job that Boylan has - it is more than plenty. And about the "next annual meeting" - I understand that there were 3 people present (in addition to the few insiders", which shows the interest.
So, who will perform all those tasks? The 10 (if that many) people left on the payroll? I am not sure about the $9M at all...
All we need is another pumper... Friday's 9% decrease reflect the great interest "to get in".
Wait until you see today's "good close"... Below $0.17. Jsch, your optimism is refreshing, you should try to be a motivational speaker.
