Please read carefully:
"There is no guarantee as to the exact number of shares that will be repurchased by the company, and the company may discontinue purchases at any time that management determines additional purchases are not warranted"
That is the most meaningful part - it is like me saying that I will buy x number of shares but I can change my mind at any time :) Plain BS...
Ok Jrad, good point, but I am almost sure I could see the ex-dates on Fidelity's calendar on previous quarters.
On a related note, and I know this board is not a support group, I am ashamed to disclose my cost basis for the NRP that I am holding. :(
The theory is fine, your contribution appreciated, as always. I, however, maintain my opinion that everyone on HUSA's payroll has moved on. Really, there is one person on and off answering the company phone. Investors, not sure. I think even JT has bid farewell to his 10M shares, and even more so, the pseudo-CEO (already involved in other engagements). A company whose annual shareholders meeting is attended (from what I heard) by 3 outsiders only is doomed, also IMO.
The bankruptcy proceedings are weeks away, at most. The cash burn rate cannot be sustained. The rig(s) is/are not even close to the field in Colombia, from what I gather.
Am I pessimistic? It's beyond that... $0.16 and dropping. Am I upset? Damn right I am - the second worst investment of my life...
Not a chance...Bankruptcy before the end of January. 100% sure. Killing the dividend will down the price per unit to teens... This partnership has NOTHING.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
This may be old news, but the dividend was (?) cancelled (NRP no longer in Fidelity's dividend calendar for February). Apparently no proper disclosure for this.
I assume BK is the only option left.
Wait until you see today's "good close"... Below $0.17. Jsch, your optimism is refreshing, you should try to be a motivational speaker.
