Reiterating... that big a jump is only possible if there is major good news that changes guidance significantly, at the next earnings report. Do you agree?
Yes, and not a cheap shot (pun intended).
That is for sure. A more serious comment than our (cpataky and my) amateur efforts!
OK, true about oil price declines helping airline profits. However, the ebola scare may last longer than you anticipate, which would NOT be good for airlines. Agree?
Could be important. I have to read some of the many articles when I get back to my desk.
Maybe, maybe not. Picture endemic (perpetual) Ebola in Africa. At this time it appears quite difficult to get it under control in Africa. Then, people travel from there to intermediate countries that are not perfectly prepared (even if we assume the USA can do better than we have been doing), and then from those countries every traveler into the USA is a potential risk. It may not spread out of control here, but can be on everyone's mind. The fatality rate currently is 70%. Until there is a vaccine or an instant blood test that shows infection BEFORE symptoms show, there is risk to the global economy.
Yes, but that would be true if SPWR was, for example, at 20. Yes, it would rise.
I want to see the 40s again for SPWR, then I will be impressed with the "energy" of solar.
Price of oil caused a panic to get out the doors? Then everyone decides it is cheaper to be in it.
Can you say why you are confident that earnings will reveal a strong company? Is everyone in the market missing something?
