According to Deutsche Bank, that is.
Google "Jack Lew talks sanctions" to get the story.
But I guess sanctions wouldn't matter because, according to some posters, Russia just sells its palladium to Switzerland - and Switzerland presumably doesn't comply with Western-imposed sanctions, right?
Of course, that doesn't mean that the Russians will be willing to ship it, even if it gets a pass. They might want a "premium" on the price, if ya know what I mean?
The Greenies would never forgive BHO for all the carbon that a war spews into the atmosphere.
I didn't say that sanctions were planned. Just askin' the question, man. And I didn't know Switzerland used all that palladium - they must have a lot of autos, if they use all that palladium. Or do they, in turn, ship palladium out of Switzerland? If the latter, I'm thinking that, if Russia wanted to deprive the West of palladium, the Russians might not even send it to Switzerland, hmm?
Especially if economic sanctions are levied on Russia.
Do you sincerely think the Greenies will allow coal to come back?! Coal is DESPISED by Greenies! They will do anything to destroy it! The Greenies are in control of Government, and they will not rest until they have destroyed every coal company!
Of COURSE it's a lie! But it DOESN'T MATTER! What matters is what is PERCEIVED! As long as the ruling elites control the propaganda, for all intents and purposes, GLOBAL WARMING is TRUE!
I'm taking all of my monetary resources and placing them in an equal amount of DZZ and DUST. I'm gonna be rich, I can feel it! Thanks, steind76 for your rational, well-reasoned arguments against gold!
When I say "cheap" I mean relatively cheap in comparison to what it will be when the Russians jack up the price. Of course, as you implied, maybe it's worth it to the Europeans to bring Ukraine into the EU - after all, Greece has been pretty much bled dry - gotta find fresh meat.
Just my opinion, of course.
All those jetliners are spewing CO2 into the atmosphere! Shame on you for thinking of vacationing in the Caribbean!
Here's why it might be beneficial to Coals for the Keystone pipeline to be scuttled: it could raise a backlash against Greenies, and might therefore take some pressure off of coals as Joe Sixpack becomes disenchanted with Greenie meddling. Does that make sense, or is it too Machiavellian?
One of the proofs of an hypothesis is the ability to predict physical effects. Just curious - did the global warming model predict these "anomalous movements" of the polar vortex, or are these anomalous movements being backed into the hypothesis? Thanks.
