There's more than 20% upside in this name.

Compare that to some athletes. And the atheletes aren't even responsible for 40+ billion dollar company.

As mentioned, I posted the link to MET LIFE "INVESTOR RELATIONS" page where they discussed this issue, but posting a link on this message board got flagged and removed as spam, even when it was actually relevant.

Why is everyone so worried about the dividend?
1) The stock is at new highs.
2) They've mentioned they'd like to increase the dividend, but are more interested in international expansion and expanding shareholder value in the best way possible.
3) Your expectations are on something they can't control. Bank Status wasn't gauranteed to free them of regulation.
