Did anyone see the recent fox news poll that said that more than 50% more Republicans support the Affordable Care Act than support Obamacare? And still more support health insurance regardless of preexisting conditions, insurance for kids up to 26 years old, and the ability of the self employed to easily get health insurance at group rates.
So, now you attack the poster, rather than his post? Isn't there a name for that sort of deceitful and disingenuous approach?
It's a god thing that the fed's have printing presses, and the Constitution says that (only) the federal government can print dollars.
As are most of the Republicans, who voted in lockstep for debt limit increases and debt laden budgets for a decade before 2009.
Close the DoD - Immediately. It's riddled with fraud and for every one they catch 10 more are out there.
Bush got us into 2 wars and couldn't get us out of either.
Obama got us out of 1 of those wars, and is quickly exiting from the other. At the same time, he avoided two other wars (Libya and Syria).
Bush created the biggest economic disaster in nearly a century, and put millions out of work.
Obama restored economic stability, and put millions back to work.
Bush kept millions of Americans from receive the health care they needed.
Obama provided a path toward needed health care for millions of Americans.
Bush increased the federal deficit and debt throughout his 2 terms, ending with the addition of $1.4 trillion to the national debt in his last fiscal year alone.
Obama has worked to decrease the deficit and growth in the debt, every year so far. With just a little support from Congress, he may be able to reduce the deficit and debt growth to zero, as it was when Bush entered office.
How do you navigate through this world, while standing on your head all the time?
And when the gentleman says,
"I believe the GOP candidate with a brain can bring ...",
maybe he is showing that he actually does see what the real problem is!
And there you have it, sir. Exactly, why the Republicans in congress have done absolutely nothing to create new jobs for Americans. If they had focused on creating jobs that Americans need, at all, they would no longer be able to blame the ACA for the dearth of jobs now. And that would never do, so they continue to do exactly nothing to create any jobs in America. When companies are competing for workers, and must hire, health care and pay are no longer a significant issue. So, never do anything to create jobs. that could lose them the next election.
You keep taking about your thoughts on Obama's grades/thesis but never say what they are. Do your thoughts really exist, or are they just an imagined belief?
Who's bill Ayres, and why did you want to listen to him?
But instead they have confidence in the ability of the governments of France, Canada, Great Britain, and China to fix the economy? They must see something in socialism that you don't??
100 billion dollars a month?? And where into the economy are those 100 billion dollars going? 100 billion dollars a month would provide an above average annual paycheck of $60K for 20 million Americans!! And there are only about 11 million Americans who are currently unemployed. So, where is all that money being pumped into the economy??
Exactly. No man should have to pay for the kids he fathers. Sounds exactly like one of today's true conservatives.
So didn't the Gambino's and the Mafia. Do you really think that making a lot of money is the right reason to pick a national leader?
Oh, yes. Just like Mr. Reagan who was a union leader before he started sucking on the government teat for the rest of his life. What's so bad about serving America and American citizens again?
Reagan was a B-grade actor for about the first 10 years of his working life. For the following 50+ years he was a union leader and a political and government employee. As a B-grade movie actor, I doubt that he make even $25K back in the 40's and 50's's from those movies.
He made more money in the late 50's and early 60's when he was hired by GE, both as host for the GE Theater TV show, and to do GE factory visits and to make political speeches supporting the very conservative GE executives. I'm not sure if the Goldwater campaign, or GE paid him to make his speeches supporting Barry Goldwater during the election of 1964, but from then on, his life was devoted to politics and government work.
Reagan's life is really not that much different for Obama's except for the fact that Obama made is money writing books, rather than acting, and making corporate political speeches, as Reagan did.
So, by your measures, Ronald Reagan must have created millions more vote slaves than Obama. Taxes, especially those collected from the wealthy, were much higher during Reagan's terms than now. And there were at least a million more government employees under Reagan, too. Proof, by your math, that Reagan created millions more voter slaves than Obama.
And, certainly, the wealthy got nothing for the taxes they paid. No big capital gains for their defense stocks. No courts to defend their wealth when their wives divorced them. No nice paved roads to drive their Mustangs on. No big deductions for IRA's, mortgage interest for summer homes, and capital gains. No way to inherit millions from your parents, tax free. No free "business expense" trips to the Caribbean.
That's what all royalty though . "It's all ours, for ever and ever, and to he!! with everyone else." We fought a revolution against that sort of thinking more than 200 years ago, but now some royalists seem to have returned. Long live the kings!
Well, as the only ones who seem to be complaining about being forced to buy health insurance are Republicans and Tea Party members, those Republicans must be hoping they can get blue state liberals to pay for their health care subsidies. And they will probably be successful, just like they have been successful getting the feds, with blue state funding, to pay for so much else in their red states.
