  • that Joe Buck would last longer than the KS team. What on earth does this director bring to the table in today's EVLV? Why is he still there?

Another thing. We are finding out that either I missed the memo that once said that Comcast was the holder of the VVTV shares that GE had and transferred to Comcast in the NBCU transaction, but not really since GE is now selling shares dripping out sometimes less than a thousand shares at a time. This brings to light that Comcast doesn't own any shares? Or maybe Comcast does own shares and so too GE and when GE is done holding down the pps Comcast will follow. It seems to me that there is something else going on behind the scenes that share holders are not privy too, like another battle but being done quietly.

Finally, IMHO the head winds are coming and it is time to set the stop orders again as it is appearing the wheels may be coming off and here is what I expect will be next and I do hope I am VERY wrong. But without any comment by MB on the GE selling I am afraid I may be right, so what do I expect?:

    1. Earnings will be less than expected.
    2. The investor day will be canceled because MB will not want to explain reasons.
    3. GE will dump its shares to get out ahead of retail shareholders dumping.
    4. MB EVLV will pile more shares on the market driving down the pps further to the book value of $1.50.

Sorry, this is the worse case I see coming in the May. I do hope I am deeply wrong but the trading signs dropping the shares back to below the point that MB took charge, is not a good sign.

  • The pps is back to the price it was when the new team took over, almost a year now. Wow, how time fly's......, now if only the pps would.

HOV did not. But BZH should be up big time today with their beat, yet the stock continues to be walked down after being up at the start. We may be seeing the end of the month event here and could see the market start to move up either Friday or Monday depending on how the wallstreet firms end their books for a month. I don't think we will see a sell in May effect this year as the market is in a range and continues to move higher inch be inch. The FED will increase interest rates soon IMHO but the market is factoring this in. Housing is picking up both on the builders side and inventory on pre existing homes. Tiny moves by the FED should not be a sign of a move down in housing as much as it may be a move up event because many will see the end of cheap mortgages and want to close their loans sooner. All JMHO. BZH deserves to be in the $30's IMHO. However HOV has more issues and needs to address them quickly. I own BZH but not HOV.

Not sure why the pps is moving down other than an end of the month thing. Time to buy low, earnings were great BGCP growing. Dumb money sellers selling, smart money could come in near the close. All JMHO.

I hope ace is right I always like to buy low from the dumb money traders like ace_tracker. RAD keeps growing revenue and the market shows no respect for them. Some day RAD will take off and mall street dumb money sellers will look at each other and say "WHAT!" The dumb money is to busy buying Apple and Tesla stock that is way, way over valued. Yep to narrow of a focus for them.

I see that one needs to be invited to the investor day, I suppose it is not for share holders.

Ok I admit you two are talking way above my pay grade here, but my question is EVLV has placed a value on the Boston property at $30M, how does this all relate to this, is the property now worth more?

Looks like we are trading much lower today and maybe GE is selling more. In a way I wish they would just dump the shares drive the pps down and get it over with. Because if MB does a secondary, this too will drive the price down as I would anticipate MB would discount the price too complete the deal. GE knows this and that is why they continue to sell as they figure they are getting a price today above that for which MB will do the offering at. IMHO it is time for us to stop this nonsense and get these things done to move on. By getting this done, the earnings could then drive the pps up and we could recover from this quicker and move to $10 IMHO.

The quarter ends in a week. It would be nice if MB could get this all done in the next week and get it over with. Comments?

stan, I agree. The Analysts use models and the company uses facts.

  • but also bought back over 4 million shares at an average 8.95. Not a bad discount to the NAV. Watch the next quarter IMHO it could be pretty darn good.

When I read the recent article, the UK government indicated the sale would go to 200,000 retail investors who currently own shares for one or more years, opportunity to buy one share per one share held and receive a free share either at the closing or in a year from the deal, not sure which one.

    Pre market $7.01?

Also you will need to have the brokerage code your trade to trade in the premarket and after market...., it is not automatic to trade in those two. When I set a limit price my broker asks me if I want to have that transaction in the after market or pre market or both.

Well, this type of move is what will happen when one of those partnerships are announced. We will have to just wait for now.

  • trumpace trumpace Apr 22, 2015 8:09 AM Flag

So how do you explain the pre market price of $7.01? This should be interesting.

Seems something is up, besides HIMX share price.

Yes it would be nice to see them spend some of their salary and get some skin in the game. Suck up some of those GE shares being sold.

I don't see the difference if one would do that..., I mean it couldn't be any worse than we have with DJ at the helm..., or should I say asleep at the helm.
