"mrsinformation • Nov 13, 2014 1:37 PM - Well I couldn't get my 2.94's yesterday so I got some 2.84's and 2.85's today. Sweet!"
Let's see now... That was 3.5 months ago and you're just about even!? Smart move! (I remember some posting that APT would do nada until March...)
Ahhh... Yahoo didn't like my "less-than" sign. So, to complete the above, the mkt undervalues (most) conglomerates, shares less than $10 and family businesses. BBX has 2 of these qualities and BFCF has 3. Exposing a piece of Bluegreen to the public would do wonders!
Now let's look at their Sales... from the same source as above:
2013 & 2014 Q1: 9.9M & 10.0M
2013 & 2014 Q2: 11.2M & 12.3M
2013 & 2014 Q3: 12.7M & 13.2M
2013 & 2014 Q4: ?.?M & 10.5M
Note the drop in 2013's Q4. Now, at the 2009 Q4 peak, sales were 18.9M but EPS was only 15c.
What will a few million in extra sales mean for EPS this time? (Not much, IMHO.)
Since 2003 - 12 yrs ago - the highest quarterly net was 15c/shr. And that was at the peak of the year-long, Swine Flu pandemic. That year, 2009, the annual net was 39c/shr. In 2013 the total was only 11c. So far in 2014 they earned 11c and Q4 looks to be between 4c and 15c, but most likely closer to 4c.
You're giving too much credit to the masses. And missing the big picture. You really think this mgt will eliminate levels/opportunities for extra salaries/fees and bonuses? Highly doubtful!
This is what I mean... you do nothing but be juvenile and call names. Try posting something useful for a change!
APT might see a small pop w/ increased sales and a few cents more on the bottom line but then it will be back down as with the bigger/better Swine Flu results. Look it up for yourself!
The mkt says (based on DRII & VAC) there would most likely be a premium - not a discount. And you'd spin part of BBXs holding and part of BFCF's or all of BBX's. The key would be to retain majority interest. Whatever they did BFCF and BBX would take off. The court case would become a side-show.
Q4 - hope you know what this is - is their weakest one for retail roofing. And that part of their business has been in the single digits. Try to use some logic instead of just pumping! Guidance is everything and will be weak, as it was in the past.
"... with the trend continuing through early November." I'm sure this is very the shares have not seen the the Nov high since then! HaHA!
