As Bear said.... for trading.
ECA.....earned a spot on Real Money's Stressed Out list earlier this year due to its debt load and a weak outlook for oil and natural gas prices. The trouble in the energy sector was particularly acute in Canada.
Board of directors of northern tier's general partner did NOT declare a cash distribution for q1 of 2016
The Ugly FIAT Dollar is helping PM's.
I agree that this may not end well.
Good job Kel ! I sold my remaining HL Fri., I'm also hoping to re enter if Silver will correct.
SLW and miners have done well.
The technical condition of the HL is strong. The chart pattern suggests that upward momentum should continue and the stock is positioned for higher prices.
HL has outperformed the market over the last 50 trading days when compared to the S&P 500.
Weaker dollar has also helped other commodities.
Seagate reported non-GAAP EPS of $0.22, down from $1.08 during the prior-year period and $0.15 below the average analyst estimate, but mained the divy.
Depends on the REIT.......
Credit Suisse has an "outperform" rating on New Residential(NRZ) , and a target price of $17. New Residential has been essentially flat since the beginning of 2016 but has a dividend yield of 15%.
NRZ also invests in mortgage servicing rights, but more than half of those investments come from mortgages other than those backed by Fannie Mae(FNMA) and Freddie Mac(FMCC) , meaning NRZ is less exposed to refinancing activity than other similar REITs.
Drawnfire, Glad to hear you are so active, and that you are doing well.
It is good to take a break from stocks, and tech.
I call it a cleanser.
Good luck on the move, and I enjoy your posts.
Yes Bear, this board has helped me in sharing ideas and information.
Lately we had a troll infestation, but the good posters still remain.
Longer-term, miners and SLW will outperform gold, silver, oil, tech stocks, blue chips … and just about any other sector or asset class.
But we may have some head winds first. IMO
