I should have said the potential for...
“In 2014 our goal is to dovetail our tactical success with the first phase of the longer-term strategic plan we introduced last fall. As we manage this transition from display bridges to smart connectivity and sensor hubs, we anticipate significant year-over-year new product revenue growth.”
The word transition is pretty important at this juncture.
Currently 7"+ displays dont support MIPI imput. That said, i remember about a year ago during a CC a question was asked if they were working on a solution to go around that and the answer was yes. It is not clear when it will come but it is certainly closer then a year ago.. The fact that AP used the word transition makes made me think twice about that.Hence I view this as an inherent risk.
Sensors are going to be the driver. If QUIK can capitalize on that bridges will be a non issue in my view.
my concern with QUIK is that the bridging revenues will fade in a few quarters. hopefully by then sensor revenues will have kicked in.
that is correct. I just stated that it would add uncertainty, i.e. volatility, which it did... As a matter of fact I bot some here at $4.90 into the roth conference. cheers
They have been quoted in a few mags.. What I find really interesting is that a 2 QCOM execs joined QUIK. One as a VP of Worldwide engineering and the other as member of the board.
Yes, Momentum signals are all pointing in the UP direction. There is definitely some supply here but one thing I like is the series of higher lows it has been making over the last 4 sessions.
Johnny, thank you. I think with QUIK is different. We shall see. Again, the fact that I got lifted on my feb5 call sale so easily it makes me wonder.. Cheers
