I agree on holding and not trading your core position. Trading has helped me lower my cost and lowered my risk. My goal is to have all free or near free shares. Eventually my position size grows at the expence of others.

Insiders are as blinded to the risk even more than the retail investor at times. 30k shares or 8k shares better be based on a bigger game plan whereas its only a small percent of your portfolio.
